Snow Hill Golf Course Snow Hill Country Club is a highly acclaimed golf club. In its long history the course has made significant changes that have bolstered its popularity.

Our 18 hole course is Ohio’s best kept secret with every hole having its own charm and character and a clubhouse with dining area to hang and make memories with friends after a round. Snow Hill Golf Course was established in 1924 as a private, 9-hole course where only a few members were taking advantage of the beautiful landscape. In 2008 we decided that our members should include all of the residents in New Vienna and the surrounding cities in Ohio. This was welcome news not only to Ohioans, but to golf enthusiasts across the country! Our beautiful and challenging 18-hole course is immaculate thanks to our highly skilled groundskeepers, and, as the case with many historic sites, is kept to the highest standards to preserve the rich history of the course. We provide all the amenities that a private course offers with the ease and accessibility of a public course. Our clients come from all over the country, not only for a challenge, but also because of the rich history that comes with a course built in the early 1900’s. The clubhouse provides golfers a great selection of food and drinks. We provide a banquet hall for large events, like weddings and graduation parties. Let our beautiful course be the backdrop for memorable moments in your life. For a golf experience like no other, come to Snow Hill Golf Course in New Vienna, OH. Contact Information:

Golfers — Check this out!!

A FROST DELAY on a golf course IS vitally important to the condition of the golf courses in the spring. Frost is the breaking and crushing of brittle ice-filled grass cells and PERMANENTLY killing the grass!
When the course is in a FROST DELAY, it is the call of the Groundskeeper, NOT THE GOLF SHOP, so complaining to them will NOT HELP!

What golfers DO NOT REALIZE is, while the fairways and greens that are seen from the clubhouse have no frost on them, ANY OTHER FAIRWAYS, AND ESPECIALLY THE GREENS that are in the shade on the course ARE NOT.

You can see from the attached photographs, what happens when you crush the grass and immediately kill it. YOU WILL NOT SEE IT WHEN YOU DO IT, but you will definitely see it in the spring.

DO NOT BE THE PROBLEM AND CAUSE OF THE COURSE LOOKING VERY BADLY IN THE SPRING, be the HERO!

Call the Pro Shop if you have any questions about course conditions at 937-987-2491.
