ONE week away! The Club’s Fall Ox Roast and Raffles, is set for Saturday, September 19, 3-10 pm! Are you coming to experience it all?!

Guests, come take advantage of the greatest odds to win some amazing bang bangs and fishing and outdoor gear while enjoying the best meal you’ve ever had, open b**r and soft drinks bar and a great all-around time on our beautiful lakeside grounds!! $25 a throw, gals and guys, are you ready for a BIG time?!? C’mon!!!

Members: sell some extra tickets, jump in to help with: Friday night setup; all-day and evening help on Ox Roast Saturday; and finally with Sunday morning cleanup.

All six of The Club’s wooden memorial benches were recently restored anonymously. Notice the guardian angel in the top right hand corner of five of the benches. It’s comforting to think these members are looking down on those of us who continue to build the legacy of The Club. A couple of these members left too young, the others had wonderful, longer lives and all had great rides at The Club.

Please excuse any teardrop stains you may see on the benches as they are newly waterproofed and recollections of these men caused tears to be spilled in the process.

It’s fitting these benches are finished and out for the Labor Day weekend. All the love and labor these members and many more put in to make The Club a continuing success for 80 years running is permitting us to proudly celebrate this year.

The Club invites and welcomes family members and friends to come out and spend some time on their loved one’s bench and rekindle memories. Better yet come to the Ox Roast on September 19, 3-10 pm. We’d love to see familiar faces and help us celebrate fond memories and the great contributions of fine members.

Here we go! The Club is set up and ready to roll at the famous Canfield Fair! Beginning this evening and straight through Labor Day, all our families, friends, neighbors and fellow sportswomen and sportsmen are invited to stop and see our display in Building 25 and catch up on everything happening at the Club!

Members, if you want to volunteer to staff the booth for work hour credit, please contact Senior member Jim Arkwright, (330) 770-7510, or Trustee Dan Donoghue, (330) 540-1631, and they’ll get you on the schedule and a complimentary e-ticket for admission.

Some of the vital work defending the Second Amendment happens quietly.

NRA's legal and policy teams submitted nine public comments, totaling nearly 200 pages, on ATF proposals affecting gun owners and fi****ms businesses.

Those comments focused on the issues that matter most to everyday gun owners and licensed dealers, including who can legally possess fi****ms, background checks, dealer regulations, and protections for traveling gun owners.

Whoa, don’t miss this! Our first responder friends are carrying on another time-honored tradition with their annual Turtle Soup Stag! Let’s show them some support and get out there!! C’mon!!!

There's a few days in every year that people always look forward to. Your birthday, the 4th of July, both pretty great, but this... is... the... one... day EVERYONE has been waiting for!!! The Turtle Soup Stag!!! All of the excitement will be worth it, trust us. Be there tomorrow or spend the next year wondering what could have been.
