Soooo
To clear up some confusion…
The workers that run the beach trash can service are very bent out of shape that someone has been putting trash bags of watermelon rinds inside those lifted trash cans. They ask us to leave it on the ground next to the post where it is easier for them to grab. Therefore, this is exactly what we do at clean up. Apparently someone out there likely feels that they are cleaning up by putting it inside The Can. We are in direct communication (receiving the brunt end of it!) with the clean up crew, although we have been following their own “instructions” over the years. So short from making watermelon w**e, please, leave this trash bag alone. As they say, “No good deed goes unpunished”. Getting lambasted is not on our to do list. 😜 Please message us if you have new concerns. 😍

Annual instructor appreciation party! Thank you Clancy’s for another wonderful Cantina spread. We have such a great bunch that are dedicated to our great learning camp! From “rookie of the year” and “bus boss”, to our ever present work horse and favorite camp counselor, what a fun family the Jimmy Lane Academy instructors are! As Taylor says, old school and new school… learn from the old school! We love our surf kids, thank you all! Here are some pics as we cut loose and have random gift drawings. (Pop-in appearances Bud Wright and Ronnie Hope.)
Gabe, a professional photographer, has been behind the lens, offering photoshoots for our surfers for 16 years nows!

Are you enjoying your stroll?
Gopher Turtles (tortoises) are a protected species; pretty tough critters though-strong enough to stop development in their tracks!
Not a “sea turtle”, this guy/gal is heading in for a quick saltwater rinse. No touchy touchy !
