We had an absolute blast! It was so nice to meet new people & reconnect with some familiar faces!

Thank you to Jordan Bryce for what you do for veterans & first responders in our community and thank you to everyone who came out today!

You are never alone. There’s an entire slew of like-minded people who truly understand your experiences and hardships, who have either served in our military and/or as a first responder. Today is a reminder that regardless of where we come from, what branch we were in, what career path we chose, we have something in common and your struggle is not yours alone to bear.

The kind of morning that just instantly reminds me how grateful I am. The rainbow in the storm.

Our favorite guys from Open Arms Assisted Living Facility came over and spent time loving on the animals & riding the horses. Countless laughs, hugs & even some dancing ♥️

Thank you so much to Jenna, KK, Jenny, Christina, Kaylee and Lila for volunteering to help. We don’t charge for services like these so great men like the ones pictured can make one-of-a-kind memories ♥️

Our hearts needed time with these friendly, happy, pleasant, caring and thoughtful gentlemen.

Lila handled the news with the upmost grit. Thank you everyone so much for being understanding, the texts, calls, visits, thoughtfulness… thank you for everything.

We are so blessed and grateful for our support system who shows up for us in the good times & hardest of times.

We really love you all.

I’m brainstorming how to make notifying Lila easier.

If anyone has any pictures of just Wrangler- maybe his cute head poking out of the trailer or getting a snackity-snack, can you send it to me or post it here? Just want to be able to flood her with more pictures than even the 100’s we have if that makes her feel better.

It is with profound shock and sadness that I let you all know we had to make the hardest decision i’ve ever had to endure by putting Wrangler down this morning.

Last night he was found down, in an immense pain, in his stall. This condition came out of nowhere as we he was in well spirits only a short time before. The vet believes he suffered from an embolism or a stroke. 

As most of you know, Wrangler is Lila’s heart horse. Lila is currently out of town this weekend for softball so she does not know. Please do not reach out to her without giving me the chance of telling her in person on Monday. She is going to take this harder than anyone will and I’d like to have the opportunity of being able to comfort her in any way she needs.

I’ve told many of you that I have an extra love for Wrangler… not only because the care he gives to you guys, but how well he took care of my baby girl.

I wish we could’ve loved him longer.

I know for a lot of you this post is really hard to read. Wrangler’s silly puppy-dog personality made him a fan favorite. I want to thank you all for loving him so much too. He deserved that.

I’m taking the next several days for myself, the horses, and Lila to grieve. Thank you for the love, support and understanding during this time.
