Bromley Motorsports would like to give everyone an update on Steve. He had his last surgery yesterday. Everything went really well and the doctors are very pleased with the results. He will be in the hospital for another week of healing, then off to rehab for a couple weeks and then finally home! This has been a long journey and we still have a long way to go but Steve's recovery so far as been nothing short of a miracle. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing team of doctors & nurses, family and friends, and we can't begin to thank everyone enough for all the love, support and prayers that we have received. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as Steve continues to stay strong on his road to recovery.

As you all know, Steve is the backbone and heart & soul of our family with a huge heart, who is always ready to lend a hand to others. He is also the strongest person we know that has the will and resolve to persevere through the toughest of times, which is evident in the way he has been fighting this affliction. We continue to celebrate each win, big or small and remain positive on the long road to recovery. We ask that you continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

We’re excited to announce that Bubba Pollard will be running at 5 Flags Speedway in our #6 Crown Stock. This is the car that our very own, Tony Bromley won at the SnowBall Derby Invitational in the first ever Crown Stock division race. We are thrilled about this unique opportunity to have such a talented wheelman run our car!

Join us in cheering on Bubba Pollard and tune in to watch on FloRacing as he runs the ARCA Menards East Series, Super Late Models, and Crown Stocks! The three-day weekend of action is set for Friday-Sunday, March 22-24, 2024.

Pollard Goes For The Triple & A Thousand Bucks For A Fan

(Pensacola, FL) Making history is nothing new to Bubba Pollard. The five-time Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series champion holds plenty of records at Five Flags Speedway. Now he’s looking to do something no one has ever thought of. Pollard will lace up his racing shoes next weekend in an effort to win three races at the same track in the same weekend. The Pollard triple would be a rare feat and a lucky fan could pocket $1,000 if he pulls it off.

Pollard will spend Saturday testing his number 26 Super Late Model as he seeks his second-straight win in the ASA STARS National Tour Series. The Sunshine State 200 will take place on Sunday afternoon.

Saturday is a busy day as Pollard will race and qualify in the ARCA Menards East Series. Pollard will be driving for Phoenix Racing in his East Series debut. But before that, Pollard will climb into a third machine as he will run the newest division at Five Flags, the Crown Stock division.

“I am going to have to bring me three rolls of tape to leave marks on the wall so I know when to lift,” joked Pollard. “Racing three different cars in the same day will be a challenge, but I like a good challenge. I can’t imagine many people have ever gotten to do something like this.”

The ARCA Menards cars weigh 3300 pounds while the Super Late Models come in at 2800 leaving a wide margin between the two cars. The Crown Stocks weigh in the heaviest, and are completely stock production cars, mostly ex-police cruisers. Each of the three cars will drive completely differently.

“He’s always a favorite to win, wherever he goes, in whatever he drives,” remarked Five Flags General Manager Tim Bryant about Pollard. “God only knows how he’ll adapt to a Crown Stock, but I can assure you he’s in it to win it, and he’s really excited to hand over a thousand dollars to a lucky fan. This was actually Bubba’s idea, and that’s why he has the legion of fans that he does.”

Pollard already has wins in Super Late Model, Pro Late Model, Modified and Trucks at Five Flags. He could add two more divisions to that if he sweeps Saturday.

A pair of Saturday wins will set up a special chance for a lucky fan on Sunday. Those who attend the Saturday night race can show their ticket stub at the gate on Sunday to register for the $1,000 fan bonus if Bubba can win all three races.

“It’s going to be really exciting if we can pull this off and the fans who are eligible will be just as excited, and that's what we want to do is bring excitement to the fans and maybe get a few more Bubba Pollard fans in the process," added the Senoia, Georgia based driver.

In addition, if Pollard wins on Sunday after winning the ARCA East event he will win the Family-Funeral & Cremation $5k Double Down bonus.

Racing starts Friday at Five Flags Speedway with Outlaws, Pure Stocks and Sportsmen. Action continues Saturday with the ARCA Menards East Series and the Pensacola 150 and Crown Stock race. Sunday is the main event for the Super Late Models as the ASA STARS National Tour runs the Sunshine State 200 as a combination event with the Southern Super Series and the Deep South Crane Blizzard Series. Mr. Perfect: Stickler Caps Magical Season with 3rd Straight Modifieds Derby Victory

By Chuck Corder
5flagsspeedway.com reporter

To paraphrase racing icon Ricky Bobby: Cody Sticker is just a big, hairy, winning Florida machine.
The 29-year-old Pinellas Park wheel man showed his flair for the dramatic on the biggest stage Friday night at Five Flags Speedway and capped a perfect, seven-race Modifieds of Mayhem season with a wad full of cash.

Stickler chose to start dead last in a 24-car field and captured the 75-lap Modifieds edition of the 56th annual Snowball Derby presented by Ho***rs and Safe Locator. It’s his third Mods Derby title in a row, joining third-place Augie Grill (2017-2019) and Donnie Hamrac (2013-2016) as fellow ground pounders who won three consecutive Derby crowns. Stickler hasn’t lost a Modis feature at Five Flags since 2021. Jaxon Bishop finished as runner-up.
“(Car owner) John Sarppraicone makes it fun,” Stickler said. “I can put it anywhere I want and do whatever I want with it.”
Stickler’s decision to start tail end proved lucrative after it nearly cost him at the drop of the green flag. Stickler earned the winner’s purse of $3,000 and a $5,000 bonus from Phoenix Water Solutions for the victory. He avoided near-disaster on the opening lap when a wreck collected a third of the field in front of him.
“Anything can happen when you start in the back,” Stickler said. “Luckily, I had no damage. I just woah-ed up as quick as I could and didn’t get in it.”

From there, he tore through the field and took the lead from the aforementioned Grill on Lap 32. Stickler quickly stretched his lead and continued to pass his fellow ground pounders. By Lap 45, there were just eight cars on the lead lap.
“Everybody knew (Stickler) was gonna be good tonight,” Grill said. “He’s been hard to beat all year. We haven’t got ourselves where need to be.”

Bromley’s Bold Move Earns Him First Crown Stocks Invitational 25 Title
You must be bold and make courageous moves to earn a Snowball Derby championship.
Tony Bromley understood the assignment Friday night at Five Flags Speedway. The Jacksonville driver made a daring late pass and won the inaugural Story & Bleich Crown Stocks Invitational 25 at the 56th annual Snowball Derby presented by Ho***rs and Safe Locator.

“I’ve got no words right now,” Bromley said. “There are no racetracks in Jacksonville. The closest one to me is New Smyrna. To come here and win a Derby feels amazing.”
Pensacola’s Ryan Maxwell and Chuckie Herne of Homasassa finished second and third, respectively.

On Lap 20, Herne was trying to maintain his lead while fending off Mike Stacy and Bromley. As Stacy looked to pass Herne on the back straightaway, Bromley saw his opportunity to slide under the pair and claim the lead. The move paid off.
Bromley darted to daylight and held off Maxwell down the stretch.
“This is just so much fun,” Maxwell said. “I’m 46. I’m too old to be getting out in these cars.

“We had our hands full tonight. I overheated and had to change the pan. Everything worked out well, though. Good, clean racing tonight.”
