Big Dance at US 24 Speedway Saturday Night Recap:

What a night!

Started 5th in the Heat, finished 2nd.
Started 5th in the 17 car feature, finished 5th.

Made a couple of aggressive attempts to try and steal 4th but just ran out of time. This weekend we kept building, making adjustments in both the car and the driver to get better each time we went out. We just can’t be more thankful to our team for all the sacrifice they made to pour into the driver and his car. Jet listened and applied all he was coached and the car took every adjustment made to it well.

It must be said that this weekend is Jet’s first time seeing this track! Every track we have been to on the road has been his first time. Remember, he is a rookie Junior Sprint driver, competing nationally!

The Big Dance Junior Sprint class was the biggest field (17 Drivers from 6 different states) and the trickiest track we have seen yet. The track changed significantly from night to night which provided all the more challenge to the already stiff competition.

Excited for what lies ahead.

Found a couple things in the car that we need to fix and I need to quit driving it so hard into the turns but I get SO EXCITED! I’ll fix it for tonight!

I mean, it’s true… especially the MUD part… and I think I even went 4 wide this weekend. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Little peak into ANOTHER new track, with the KKM Giveback Challenge Series on this rookie year journey of a Junior Sprints. Finished better than I started in both heats, got pinched several times in the first A Main which taught me to HOLD MY LINE the next day in the heat and then of course we know the bad fuel pump in the second A Main.
