Congrats to Coach Nick Muldoon on being named the New Smyrna Beach Babe Ruth Baseball September Coach of the Month!
🏆 September Coach of the Month Presented by 386 MVP 🏆
At NSB Babe Ruth Baseball, our coaches do far more than teach the game. They shape young athletes, build confidence, encourage teamwork, and help create lifelong memories. Each month, our Coach of the Month recognizes an individual who has made an extraordinary impact on their players, families, and our league community.
Congratulations to our September Coach of the Month, Nick Muldoon, head coach of the 5U and 8U Navy Midshipmen!
Coach Nick was nominated by multiple families who consistently praised his dedication, passion, and commitment to every player on his teams. Parents shared how he pours countless hours into helping players grow, not only as baseball players but also as teammates and young people. Whether he's organizing extra instruction, bringing additional help to practices, teaching players every aspect of the game, or finding ways to build confidence in a child who needs encouragement, Coach Nick always goes above and beyond.
What stood out most in the nominations was the positive environment he creates. Parents described him as patient, supportive, and always encouraging. He celebrates every player's successes, no matter how big or small, and makes every child feel like an important part of the team. One parent shared a favorite memory of Coach Nick jumping with excitement after their child hit a home run, showing just how invested he is in the accomplishments of his players.
Families also highlighted how Coach Nick teaches lessons that extend far beyond baseball. He emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, perseverance, and supporting one another through both wins and losses. His players learn that success is about more than the scorebook, it's about effort, character, and being a great teammate.
As one parent summed it up, years from now these players may not remember every score or every game, but they will remember the coach who believed in them, encouraged them, helped them improve, and made them love coming to the ballpark.
Thank you, Coach Nick, for your dedication to the players and families of NSB Babe Ruth Baseball. Your passion for the game and the positive impact you make each day are what make our league special.
Congratulations, Coach Nick Muldoon, our September Coach of the Month presented by 386 MVP!
