Seven Blue Angels Named to AD3I All-Academic Team

OVERLAND PARK, KS. --- A total of 159 student-athletes from eight member institutions were named to the 2015-16 All-Academic Team as announced today by the Association of Division III Independents. The All-Academic Team awards were issued to student-athletes in the sports of men's and women's basketball, softball, baseball, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball and men's and women's cross country. Only sophomores, juniors and seniors were eligible for the awards. A minimum grade-point average of 3.5 (achieved during the 2015-16 academic year) was required.
CNR Director of Athletics John "Jay" Butler summed up the accomplishment, " We take great pride in the academic success of our student-athletes. Celebrating these accolades with our student-athletes motivates the others to strive for success in the classroom. "
