Day #2 at Thunder Hill Speedway!

Daytime show—AJC Mid America Series Nationals:

Blue Plate—5 karts checked in!

Qualifying: 5th out of 5 🤦🏻‍♀️ (Forgot to switch the transponder from the BP kart… which meant Rem qualified last and would be starting in the back, as they didn’t have his lap times)! Totally our fault! 😝
Feature: P5 to P1 🥇🏁🏆

This was a good lesson—even when things start out wrong, you keep your head up, stay positive, and work for that win! Rem was fast, kept gaining on the leader every lap, and was able to make a clean pass to take the lead for the last 5 laps to take the checkers! 🏁

He won both Blue Plate features over the two days, which also earned him two Factory Pilot suits!! ⭐️

BP—13 karts checked in!
Qualifying: 10th of 13
Feature: P10 to P7

We finally found a little speed in this kart and Rem gained a few positions in the feature!

Night Show—Thunder Hill National Championship

BP—18 karts checked in!
Qualifying: 4th of 14 😍 (4 BP drivers were automatically put into the big show based on their results from the night prior)
Heat: P2 to P2 🥈
Feature: P8 to P8

It was such a relief to finally find some speed in BP for the last show of the weekend! Rem told Nick to just put the BP motor on the Blue Plate kart, but he decided against it. We qualified decent, and Rem kept his 2nd place position in the heat, securing his spot in the 20 lap A-main! The feature went caution free green to checkers and Rem had a good battle going for 7th place! He took home $75 for this money show!💰

We ended the night watching the 500s and Micros along with some fireworks! It was a great weekend! We love the vibe of a big money show and racing with some of the best! 🏁🔥 Congrats to Daxx of DHRacing on his dominating wins in BP! 🏁🏁

⭐️Rem is currently at 48 career wins and 63 shows for the 2026 calendar year!⭐️

We plan to head out to Runestone Raceway next weekend for the King of Dirt Show as we will not be invited to the Race of Champions due to moving up classes after the season started!

Racing Update!

Thursday the crew chief picked up the driver from school at noon and headed to Thunder Hill Speedway in Menomonie, WI! Unfortunately due to rain, the races were canceled for the evening. ☔️ However, there was some good entertainment as they brought in a helicopter to help dry the track for Friday’s races! 😱

Friday Results—

AJC Mid America Series Nationals:

BP—14 Karts Checked In!
Qualifying: 13th 🫣
Feature: P13 to P10

Blue Plate—6 Karts Checked In!
Qualifying: 2nd 🥈
Feature: P2 to P1 🏁🏆🥇

BP Wing National Championship—21 Karts Checked In!

Qualifying: 8th
Heat: P3 to P6
B-Feature: P6 to P4
Feature: P16 to P14

In a nutshell… the Blue Plate is bad fast 💨 and as for the BP… there’s some work to do!!! Lots of racing and laps yesterday, and that’s only going to help Rem as he continues to learn the ropes in BP at 8 years old—especially against some of the best kids in the Midwest who are here to compete!

⭐️When we started the season, a goal was to get a win at this track. We are so proud of Rem for reaching that goal yesterday! 🏁

We will see what Day #2 brings and hopefully we can find some speed in the BP! 🙏

In the heat Rem fell all the way back to last place and was able to wheel it up to the front and take the win!
Feature time came and he started outside pole. He unfortunately fell all the way back to 9th, but finished 4th at the end! He could have taken 2nd, as he certainly had the speed, but made some mistakes with his exits.

The final races of the season at our home track will be happening today and tomorrow! If you have been wanting to come out to watch Rem race—here’s the track—close to home (ish), TONS of laps, great race surface, an announcer, concessions, candy toss, with a family friendly atmosphere! Green flag drops at 4:30 this afternoon and at 12pm tomorrow! Let’s go racing! 🏁🏁🏁

Too many 6s tonight! 😅

Didn’t have the speed and the kart was tight… not the finish we wanted for our last night in Ogilvie! This is a tough track for us—we can finish in the Top 3 in a 50 Lapper at Atwater with some of the toughest competition… and here we just can’t get er’ dialed in quite yet! Next year will be the year, I know it!!! 🏁🏁

Congrats to Jaxon Godfrey on your win tonight and best of luck as you move onto the big car world! We will definitely miss seeing you and your team at the track! 🏁 It’s been great racing with you, buddy!

Most people’s seasons are coming to an end, but we still have lots of racing left! Next up… the double header at Atwater for their Harvest Hustle! 🍁🍂
