Going to watch some racing this weekend! 🏁

It's officially Fall Classic week!!!

The 23rd annual Minnesota Truck Headquarters Fall Classic presented by Structural Buildings and powered by KME is THIS WEEKEND at the Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minnesota and should be an amazing time as always!

All 8 Wissota Auto Racing divisions will be in action with several VERY CLOSE national point battles on the line, plus Crown Vics will join us for the first time AND the very first USRA - United States Racing Association vs. Fast Threads Gen X Late Model clash will take place this weekend as well. The season is just about over, so why not give everyone a chance to participate in the fun!

Event Details are all on the attached flyer, but important times are as follows:

Thursday, October 8th - Practice Night
Pits open at 4
Practice from 6-9

Friday, October 9th - Qualifying Night
Pits open at 3
Grandstand and trackside gates open at 5
Draw cutoff is at 6:15
Racing begins at 7

Saturday, October 10th - Championship Night
Pits open at 1
Grandstand and trackside gates open at 3
Racing begins at 5

Hopefully another place to race—close to home, too!!! 🏁

Our crew has been cleaning up an area to make sure it would work and we are going to the township for approval to have a go kart track!

We are working with Ogilvie Raceway to have the same rules and hopefully track size so families can race both tracks without much work!

Day #2 of the Harvest Hustle at Thunder Hill Speedway!

BP—12 karts checked in!
Qualifying: QUICKTIME! 💨 out of 12
Heat: P4 to P3 🥉(the invert didn’t help us 😝)
Feature: P5 to P4

Mod BP—8 karts checked in!
*Rem ran his BP kart in this class, as did several other kids. Simply ran the extra class for seat time!
Qualifying: 4th of 8
Heat: P1 to P2 2nd🥈
Feature: P2 to P6

Rem fought a tight tight kart in this race and Nick had very little time in between races to make adjustments. The crew chief said the track changed and was different during the day, which brought about some challenges.

Next race will be at Cedar Lake to get dialed in for the Fall Shootout! 🍂

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to check out the karts and get a hero card or keychain at the Big Truck Night that Foley Schools hosted! The wheelman had a great time signing autographs and was super busy taking the steering wheel on and off so the littles could sit in the go-kart and check it out! Two podium finishes in his Demon Racing Chassis against kids 2+ years older than him—can’t complain! It was a great day of racing! Rem did fight a tight kart in Blue Plate and the kart was a little too loose in BP, but he still had some dang good finishes! Shoutout to the crew chief Nick for all the hours he puts in during the week at the shop to give Rem the best kart possible to race! We were happy with kart counts, as we weren’t sure what the day would bring with three other tracks running, but there certainly was no shortage of competition!

*We didn’t get a photo on the podium for Blue Plate, as Rem had to jump out and run right into the BP for the feature!*

The driver and crew chief are working in the shop tonight—getting the karts ready for the King of Dirt at Runestone Raceway! This is one of the first race specials Rem raced back when he was only 5 years old!! 🥲🏁

Shoutout to Jake Frericks from Atwater Karting Speedway for working the track and getting it smooth and fast for Saturday—we all know he’s one of the best when it comes to track prep! 👌🏽

Day #2 at Thunder Hill Speedway!

Daytime show—AJC Mid America Series Nationals:

Blue Plate—5 karts checked in!

Qualifying: 5th out of 5 🤦🏻‍♀️ (Forgot to switch the transponder from the BP kart… which meant Rem qualified last and would be starting in the back, as they didn’t have his lap times)! Totally our fault! 😝
Feature: P5 to P1 🥇🏁🏆

This was a good lesson—even when things start out wrong, you keep your head up, stay positive, and work for that win! Rem was fast, kept gaining on the leader every lap, and was able to make a clean pass to take the lead for the last 5 laps to take the checkers! 🏁

He won both Blue Plate features over the two days, which also earned him two Factory Pilot suits!! ⭐️

BP—13 karts checked in!
Qualifying: 10th of 13
Feature: P10 to P7

We finally found a little speed in this kart and Rem gained a few positions in the feature!

Night Show—Thunder Hill National Championship

BP—18 karts checked in!
Qualifying: 4th of 14 😍 (4 BP drivers were automatically put into the big show based on their results from the night prior)
Heat: P2 to P2 🥈
Feature: P8 to P8

It was such a relief to finally find some speed in BP for the last show of the weekend! Rem told Nick to just put the BP motor on the Blue Plate kart, but he decided against it. We qualified decent, and Rem kept his 2nd place position in the heat, securing his spot in the 20 lap A-main! The feature went caution free green to checkers and Rem had a good battle going for 7th place! He took home $75 for this money show!💰

We ended the night watching the 500s and Micros along with some fireworks! It was a great weekend! We love the vibe of a big money show and racing with some of the best! 🏁🔥 Congrats to Daxx of DHRacing on his dominating wins in BP! 🏁🏁

⭐️Rem is currently at 48 career wins and 63 shows for the 2026 calendar year!⭐️

We plan to head out to Runestone Raceway next weekend for the King of Dirt Show as we will not be invited to the Race of Champions due to moving up classes after the season started!
