We are working the Freedom Fest again this year in cooperation with the VFW. We will only have limited hours this year to avoid the non-busy times of the weekend and we are not doing the mixed drinks. We are only opening the cans and pouring them into DORA approved cups. We keeps the tips collected as wells as proceeded from the sale of bottled water. Please look at the sign up genius below and pick a time. If you have any questions please contact Kevin Young. 🏐 VOLLEYBALL CAMP UPDATE 🏐

Due to scheduling adjustments, the High School Volleyball Camp has been pushed back by one day.

📅 NEW DATES:
Tuesday, June 2 – Friday, June 5

The camp is still taking place next week and remains open to all incoming 3rd–8th graders!

Thank you for your flexibility, and we can’t wait to see everyone in the gym for a great week of learning, skill-building, and fun!

As y’all know we started a scholarship program this year at NRYSA because, as I have said 1000 times, we want to give everything back to the kids. Well last night we got the opportunity to award our first recipient of that scholarship and we brought back a familiar face to do it. Kristin Bennett and I awarded Leah Riley with the very first NRYSA scholarship. Congratulations to her and to all the graduating seniors and to all those that received a scholarship award last night. Y’all deserve it. GO DO BIG THINGS!!!

ALERT ALERT ALERT. WE HAVE A CHAMPION ALERT. Coach Gaffney and her 10U Lady Lions softball team just won the championship game to bring home the gold. What makes this team so special you might ask? Sharing from Cortney Gaffney:

Spending weekends and weekdays with this incredible group of girls on the ball fields has given me some of the most unforgettable moments.

Tonight, they've earned the chance to play for the championship title after displaying unbreakable grit and determination like never before. This weekend, they conquered two undefeated teams, one of which, a pitcher who threw with unmatched speed and precision, surpassing any rec or travel ball player I've seen yet.

These young athletes have battled tirelessly, pushing themselves to the limit to reach this moment. I couldn't be more proud of the growing passion and heart they show for the game.

I made the bold decision to move this talented 9u team up to the 10u level for challenges like this, where they not only face tougher competition but also learn to handle the pressure with grace. The talent on this team is undeniable.

Come out and support this phenomenal team tonight at Goshen field 4 - it promises to be an unforgettable experience! LETS GOOOOO!

We have a CHAMPION. Our 4th grade Lions girls brought home the championship today by clawing back from a 6 seed. Proving once an again that you can’t keep a hungry lion down. Great job Coach Hughes and the girls. Well done.
