Made the trip up to Ogilvie Raceway last night. Had a pretty solid run; started 8th in the heat and drove it up to 2nd. For the feature, rolled out 6th and wheeled it back to 10th. I've only been there a handful of times, and that was my first time ever bringing the car home in one piece from there. I give it to the locals that run that track weekly; those guys know their way around it. Fun track. I'll definitely get back up there a handful of times this summer.

Kids' night was a success and the car is in one piece. I battled fuel and carburetor problems all night. In the heat race, I really struggled, started fifth, and finished there. Had to run the B-feature, started on the pole, and won that. Then for the feature, rolled out 19th and drove it up to 11th. The car really came on strong at the end when I found the high groove, I just ran out of laps. We'll see what this upcoming weekend brings.

Took the car down to Château last night after wrecking it a few weeks ago and was unsure how things were going to go, but it turned out to be a pretty solid night. 2nd to 3rd in the heat race, struggled with an engine miss and brake problems. Thankfully, Matt Everts was there and we managed to get the car figured out for the future. We really didn’t have time to do any tire prep or adjustments. Started on the pole and led over half the race, and towards the end, the car started to fade away, but managed to come home in second place. Considering how I had this car torn apart last week, couldn’t be happier with the results. Onto Cedar Lake Speedway tonight.

Well, in my last post, my arm was swollen and infected thankfully the antibiotics did their job and I was able to race this past Saturday at Cedar Lake Speedway. I had a pretty fast car started 6th in the heat race drove it up to 2nd and for the feature started 4th and was holding my own. Got a little too high, coming off a turn 4 and smack the wall, putting an end to the night. After assessing the damage on the car, it’s pretty banged up, bent rear end and junked all the bolt on parts on the right front and the list goes on. Taking this upcoming weekend off but plan on running the following weekend.

Weekend plans were to run Château Speedway tonight and Cedar Lake Speedway tomorrow, but for whatever reason, my left arm decided to get an infection and swell up. My wife’s orders are to stay home and relax tonight. Let the antibiotics do their job. Hopefully I’ll be healed up enough to run Cedar Lake speedway tomorrow night.

I decided to park the car on Friday night, but made the trip up to Cedar Lake on Saturday. The track had some character, but it made for an awesome night of racing. I'm happy with the results and the car and it's in one piece.
