Had a chance to revisit the world of media briefly today to talk about starting up Yoga Darsana Galway. Thank you to John Morley for having me on to share how the studio has built relationships with local NGOs to expand its yoga classes for the community.

Nothing is permanent. This core principle from Buddhism has helped me navigate life’s changes for years. For those whom I didn’t get a chance to let you know in person, I’m relocating to Providence to be closer to family. I will miss the students who have progressed in their practice at Yoga Darsana Galway, and those I met through the studio’s broader outreach via organisations including COPE Galway, Ability West, and Youthreach Galway City.

I’m looking forward to starting regular classes this week at Iyengar Yoga Source on Wednesdays, Intermediate 2 class at 8am and Foundations at 6pm EST. They are hybrid, so you can still login from Galway or anywhere, if it suits!

I leave you with this image from the lake at La Chaise Dieu where I spent two lovely weeks in July with my dear teachers Corine Biria and Jordi, reflecting on yoga practice, life, and living in the present moment.

Feeling content and grateful for the wonderful weekend workshop with Lorraine McConnon in Galway. Fantastic to join so many Munster Iyengar Yoga teachers and others to work on (among other things) shoulder alignment for more stability and stillness in inversions and backbends, and the two categories combined in the fantastic fear-conquering drop-backs! We left feeling uplifted, calm, and confident! Hoping this will be an annual event 🤞
