Game #5 at Chatham. Big 17-1 W to improve our record to 4-1.

Game Ball 1: Reyansh - Pitched 2 strong innings with 39 pitches and just one earned run. Had 2 K’s and also helped himself out from the plate with a his second consecutive two hit game, which included reaching base safely all 3 AB’s (2 Hits, 1 BB, 1 SB and 1 Run scored)! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 2: Erick - Pitched a scoreless 3rd on a very efficient 11 pitches even despite a dropped 3rd on his strikeout. Was 1-2 hitting with a walk and a big double that drove in a run. He also scored a run! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 3: TJ - Was 1-2 hitting with a BB and a big 2 RBI double with bases loaded that was the long shot of the day 👀 - one hopping to the bottom of the left field fence! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 4: Ben - Reached base safely all 3 AB’s with 2 BB’s and a frozen rope double to Left Center that knocked in a run. He scored as well. Ben made his career pitching debut, throwing a scoreless 4th on just 14 pitches with 2 K’s to end the game! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 5: Lucas - Made two dazzling catches in CF and also had a productive day at the plate. He reached base on a dropped 3rd strike, had a hit with an RBI, and a SAC that knocked in another run. He also stole a base and scored a run! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Play of the Game: Andrew - Made a very difficult over the should catch on a tough foul ball down the first base line. Also, reached base safely all 3 AB’s on 2 BB’s and an error, stealing 2 bases, scoring one, and knocking on in as well! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Play of the Game: Devan - Made a couple sharp putouts from 3rd including a very tough catch in foul territory! He also walked twice and an RBI and a SB! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Honorable Mentions: Ryan, Chace, and James.
Ryan had a hit with 2 RBI, a walk with another RBI, and a SAC that moved the runner over. 3 productive AB’s! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥
James was 1-2 at the plate with a hit, as well as a SAC that knocked a run in. He stole two bases and scored twice! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥
Chace reached on an error and a walk, but also knocked two runs on a SAC part in thanks to some great base running from James! Chace also stole 2 bases and scored. 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

And a solid 10-2 team win Sunday morning at SPF raising our record to 3-1!

Game Ball 1: TJ - Pitched 3 strong innings with 60 pitches and no earned runs. Had 4 K’s and also helped himself out from the plate with a SAC, BB, and 2 RBI’s! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 2: Chace - 3-3 hitting with two singles, a double, 3 stolen bases and 3 runs scored. On fire at the plate! Caught another great game behind the plate as well and made a great catch on a tough pop up! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 3: James - Closed it down pitching a scoreless 4th and 5th with 3 K’s! Went 2 for 3 from the plate with a single, a double, 2 RBI, a SB, and a run scored! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 4: Andrew - Made several key plays at 1st. Reached base safely with 2 BB’s and a big 2 RBI double! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 5: Reyansh - 2 for 3 from the plate with 2 double (one that reached the fence! 👀) and drove in two runs! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Catching up on some Nitro results….

Tough 5-4 loss against Ridge on April 21

Game Ball 1: Chace - Hit a big double to get our offense going and drove in our first run. Reached base a 2nd time with a BB, had a SB, and cough 5/6 innings calling a great game! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 2: Milo - Had two hard hit balls continuing his streak of barreling up! 2 for 3 from the plate with 2 key hits! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 3: Ben - Had a sacrifice with an RBI when we rallied to get back into the game and had a hit to tie the game in the 5th! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Play of the Game: James - Caught a hard hit ball and smoothly turned a key double play on the 5th! Also, James threw 58 pitches with 4 K’s and just 2 runs allowed over 3 innings of work. 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Honorable Mention: Reyansh - Had a big hit in his first AB of the game and reached base safely with a walk as well! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Nitro earned a trip to Zita’s ice cream yesterday coming back from a 4-1 deficit to win 9-5. Great win team!!!!!

Game Ball 1: Erick - 3 innings pitched with 1 run allowed. Reached base safely all 3 AB’s including a hit with 2 RBI’s to give us the lead in the 4th. 2 SB’s and a Run Scoted. 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 2: TJ - Closed the game with two strong innings on the mound and just 1 run allowed. Also had an RBI Single BB, SB, and 2 runs scored.🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 3: Chace - Called a great game from behind the plate, toughing it out back there 5/6 innings. Reached base safely 2 times as well. 🤩 🔥 ⚾️

Play of the Game: Andrew - A sprinting, near back flip catch in foul territory from first. Great hustle play and not an easy one. Wow! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Honarable Mentions:
Milo - Hit, Walk, RBI, plus the hardest hit ball of the day that was caught in deep left. 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Great job by all for opening night last night! 10-0 W to kick off the 2024 season. Lots of hits and runs. A clean sheet in terms of fielding errors. First time in 5 years for this group!

Way to go boys!

Game Ball 1: James - 3 innings pitched with no runs allowed. Reached base safely all 3 AB’s as our lead off hitter and scored 3 runs with several SB’s. 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 2: Devan - Capped off our clean sheet pitching a scoreless 4th inning. Also had a hit and an RBI and a SB. 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Play of the Game: Andrew - Two critical tag outs at home on passed balls that kept our opponent off the board. Great hustle and awareness! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Honarable Mention: Ryan - Well hit single plus a quality put out at 3rd and multiple put outs at 1st. 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Definitely a day where every single guy earned a game ball! Great job all around!

Boys looked GREAT for the first scrimmage of the season. A close 6-5 loss to a tough Chatham team, but lots of recognition worth sharing

Game Ball 1: Devan - 2 for 3 hitting with a Single, Double, 2 RBI, and 1 SB. 3 nice put outs from SS and 1 from 3B. 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Game Ball 2: TJ - 1 for 1 hitting with a single and a SAC, 2 RBI, one BB, and 2 SB’s. Two nice put outs from 2B. Pitched two innings with our lowest run total of 1 run allowed over 2. 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Play of the Game: Lucas - spectacular diving catch in CF. Wow! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥

Honarable Mention: Chace - Hit and RBI in his first AB and great game behind the plate. Chace is now calling signs for our Pitchers and managing the game within the game! 🤩 ⚾️ 🔥
