🏆back-to-back🏆 we’re seeing double as Michael Pierce just claimed his 2nd Cy Young with the Reds in his two years in the red and black. This is Pierce’s 3rd NJABL Cy Young (Expos, 2021). Pierce dominated on the bump leading the league in Wins (5), ERA (1.02), WHIP (1.06) and IP (27 1/3). This is the 7th time a Red has claimed the Cy Young (6 NJABL).. Pierce (2024), Tyler DeGeorge (2022), Scott Horowitz (2016 & 2015), Doug Pastore (2014), Nick Sommo (2012)

🏆an All Star season culminates in an MVP for 3B Rob Grasso! Rob finished 1st or 2nd in just about every offensive category this summer, pacing the league with a .520 avg, 13 hits and 17 RBI (in 10 games). Defensively he was golden at the hot corner at Oakwood. Congratulations Rob! He joins Tyler DeGeorge (2022) and Matt Nesto (2021) as our Reds MVPs 🏆

The #1 Reds (9-1, 2-0) will take on the #2 Jersey Bandits (6-4, 2-1) at 11am on Sunday at Oakwood Park in NP for the NJABL North Championship. The Reds took the regular season series winning 6-5 and 8-2 on June 22 at Kean University. They then defeated the Bandits 13-5 in the Semi Finals last Sunday. The Bandits won a thriller/slugfest/walkfest this morning beating the Union Misfits 22-21 (!!) to earn a birth in the Championship.

The playoff format is double elimination. If the Reds fall tomorrow, they will look to take the title next Sunday. If they win tomorrow, they will secure the league title.

Come on out to support the Reds in their quest for their 6th Championship and first since 2022!
