'Getting into hot water has never been more fun!' We are a hot spring / campground for car/tent/RV/bikes/motorcyclist camping.

We also have heated Mash units for rent with 4 twin beds/full beds, reservations are recommended. Heated bathroom, gift shop, office. We are an ODFW agent to sell hunting license and tags. Private guest only access road to the playa. Water is not potable, working on a fresh water well. We sell bottled water in the office and have a hot/cold water dispenser for instant items. We sell soda, beer, sn

acks and sweatshirts/t-shirts in our gift shop. We offer camping at Pike Creek, and day parking for day hiking trail.

Funday Friday and some proof of progress. Walls are slowly going up and yes, the old tin will be salvaged and reused so as not to lose all the memories and names all the guests have left from near and far. Our tubs are still open during the renovation so don’t hesitate to stop on by and have a soak.

After nearly 60 years standing against high desert wind, our spring shelter finally met its match in a recent storm.

For those who've been visiting Alvord Hot Springs over the decades, this structure has been part of your experience, weathered, authentic, shaped by the same elements you come here to experience. We're grateful no one was hurt, and the hot springs themselves continue flowing, just as they have for thousands of years.

We're planning to rebuild using salvaged materials from the original structure to maintain its character while making some thoughtful improvements. The bones of the old building will become part of the new, because six decades of desert survival deserves that respect.

Updates to come as we move forward. The springs remain open, the water is still hot, and the wind is still doing what it does best out here.

April in the Alvord: when dormant becomes ALIVE. 🌼
The desert is beginning to bloom. Sage grouse are booming on the leks at dawn. Lizards are back on the rocks. The Lyrid meteor shower peaks 4/22. And yes—rattlesnakes are emerging (watch your step!).
