Just Listed!

Properly belly weighted and Ernie’s initials under the fin. Since then he has been quite active, carving on average 50 or so decoys each winter when he has his seasonal layoff. He and his brother, both bachelors, are hardy industrious self-sufficient folk as is typical of the region.

I was asked by a writer for Game and Fish Magazine Midwest if he could interview me about how I make my fish decoys. I was happy to have him over to my house and share how I carve, paint, and swim test my Darkhouse spearing decoys. I hope this article will help those that want to make their own fish decoys.
