The Kent State University-Tuscarawas Lady Golden Eagles Women’s Bowling Team would like to announce the signing of Conotton Valley’s Ashlynn Hammond.

Ashlynn has been bowling for two years and is a two year letter winner for the Lady Rockets Bowling Team. She had a high score of 192 this year. “We look forward to having Ashlynn on the team as she brings a cheerful attitude and the willingness to learn with her” said Coach Beckley, KSU-Tusc Head Bowling Coach.

Ashlynn will be continuing her academic and athletic careers at the Kent State University-Tuscarawas campus where she is a double major in the Computer Science and Education programs.

Four of our KSU-Tuscarawas Lady Golden Eagle Bowlers participated in the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Tournament Friday, March 13, 2026 at Mt. Lebanon Lanes in Pittsburgh, PA where they bowled 6 games.

The top score for the day was a 190 by Ivy S***z. She was followed by games of 181 by Haylee Myers and Hailee Ulman, and a 179 by Zoey Elliott. This was the last collegiate tournament for Zoey Elliot and Haylee Myers as they are in the 2 year Education program. We would also like to wish these two wonderful ladies good luck with their teaching careers!!

The Kent State University-Tuscarawas Women’s Bowling Team would like to announce the signing of New Philadelphia High School Senior Allison Knisely to the 2026-2027 Lady Golden Eagles Bowling Team. Allison is a 4-year varsity letter winner for the Lady Quakers. Currently, she has a 156 average with a high game of 226. She will be attending the Veterinary Tech program starting in the fall.

We would like to welcome Allison to the program and look forward to having her on the team. Congratulations Allison!

The KSU-Tuscarawas Lady Golden Eagles Boeling Team was in action this past weekend at the AHBA Roseland Open in Oakwood, Ohio which was our last team tournament of the season. The ladies had a great weekend finishing 5th, just 31 pins out of 4th place. All 5 bowlers place inside the top 25 individual standings:

Hailee Ulman was 13th with a 650 series (162.5 avg.)

Zoey Elliott was 14th with a 646 series (161.5 avg.)

Haylee Myers was 18th with a 598 series (149.5 avg.)

Ivy S***z was 19th with a 568 series (152 avg.)

Kaylee Dunlap fought through a reaccuring back injury and was 21st with a 563 series (140.75 avg.)

Up next for a few of the ladies is the USBC Intercollegiate Section (Individuals) Tournament March 13, 2026 in Pittsburgh, Pa.

We are also sad to announce the departure of 3 of our Lady Golden Eagles at the end of the season. We wish these ladies the best of luck in their future endeavors!

Zoey Elliot and Haylee Myers will be graduating from their two year programs and Kaylee Dunlap who will be moving on with her Nursing Degree as she was accepted into the College of Nursing at Aultman Hospital!! (pictured)

The Lady Golden Eagles Bowling Team was back in action this past weekend at our American Heartland Bowling Conference #4 tournament. We didn’t have the results that we were looking for at the tournament. Scores were not all that high one the oil pattern we had. Coach Beckley stated that we needed to pick up our spare’s. If we can pick up more spares, we will be knocking on the other team’s doors in the top 5.

However, we had 3 of our bowlers in the top 40 individually. Zoey Elliott was 19th with an 843 series and a high game of 204. Hailee Ulman was 24th with an 819 series, and Kaylee Dunlap, who was battling pain and no sleep due to some unforcene circumstances, was 36th with an 674 series.

We will be back on the lanes January 25, 2025 in Monroe, MI for the American Heartland Championship tournament.

The Kent State-Tuscarawas Lady Golden Eagles Women’s Bowling Team would like to announce the signing of Cali Gordon for the 2026-2027 season.

Cali comes to us from Houston High School in Houston, OH and lives in Sidney, OH. She will be attending the Veternarin Tech program. Although her high school does not have a bowling program, Cali has been bowling in several different youth leagues including a youth sport shot league. At the moment, she is averaging in the 150-160’s with a high score of 234.

We would like to welcome Cali to the Lady Golden Eagles Bowling Team!
