Smoker Craft, Inc. was proud to serve as the title sponsor for the Cultivate Food Rescue Golf Classic again this year. Cultivate does incredible work right here in northern Indiana, recovering excess quality food and redistributing it to school children, food pantries, shelters, and more. Every dollar raised from the Golf Classic goes directly toward their mission to fight hunger and reduce food waste in our community.
As a family owned Indiana company, we believe in showing up for the communities that have supported us for over 120 years. Supporting organizations like Cultivate is one of the ways we try to do that. Grateful for the opportunity to be part of something that makes a real difference.

The policies set in Washington, D.C. directly impact the future of recreational boating — and Smoker Craft, Inc. was proud to be there to make sure our industry's voice was heard.

This week, we attended the American Boating Congress (ABC), the premier advocacy event uniting all segments of the recreational boating industry. We had productive meetings with the International Trade Administration division of the U.S. Department of Commerce and the House Committee on Ways and Means, and capped the week with dinner alongside Doug Burgum, U.S. Secretary of the Interior.

These conversations gave us the opportunity to share the real-world impact of rising aluminum prices and tariffs on American boat manufacturers, and to emphasize the importance of continuing the USMCA accord to maintain favorable trading relations with Canada.

With critical decisions on the horizon affecting manufacturing, trade, sustainability, and boating access, there has never been a more important time to step up and get involved. Smoker Craft, Inc. proudly supports advocacy for a stronger, more competitive American boating industry.

Today, we gathered as a company to celebrate Doug Smoker and the incredible impact he’s had on Smoker Craft, Inc. His journey began when he was just 10 years old, and over the years his dedication, vision, and passion helped shape our company into what it is today.

At a company-wide lunch this afternoon, our team came together to recognize Doug’s leadership, his lasting influence on our culture, and the respect he’s earned from employees, partners, and peers across the marine industry.
