Whats up everyone. Despite some delays in getting everything out and ready due to spring break, I’m proud to announce the theme and title of our weeklong!

For those of you who do not know what a weeklong is or simply haven’t done one, weeklongs are an event we run every semester where for the entire week, starting at Kickoff on Sunday to Fridays final mission, you are always playing HvZ. Anytime you are walking to class or outside you will be able to play nerf while trying to stun and avoid Zombies where you can!

For this semester the content team has been hard at work (please join content), and ultimately decided on going with a space theme for this weeklong! So I am proud to announce that the name of our game for this semester’s weeklong will be **2025: A Dart Odyssey”**. We’ve been assigned as rescue crew to go and investigate the planet JR985 where a previous expedition team has been uncontactable. Its up to us to find them, bring them back, and maybe do a bit of planetary research and expeditions on the way. Kickoff will be starting on **Sunday, April 6th**

Before signing up to join the crew though, you need to go through one of our special GI meetings to make sure you get the necessary training to know what to do and how to play the game. These meetings and their times will be listed below. An emergency GI will additionally be hosted at 8:00pm on the day of Kickoff, though you most likely will not be considered for Hidden OZ if going to this meeting. With all that said I look forward to seeing you all at this semesters weeklong event! And be sure to tell your friends!

Hello Everyone!

It’s officially two weeks prior to our invitational date and we are ready to give some further info on the theme of the event, where we are planning to meet, and the time for the game! After some intense discussion, we’ve decided that the theme this semester will be Escaping from New Jersey! Now seeing as Nick is the New Paltz New Jersey Representative he doesn’t know why yall diss it so much, but he hopes to show you that maybe New Jersey isn’t all that bad.

Join us on Saturday, March 8th for an exciting game with a mix of both funny and serious moments, as we try and escape from one of the scariest places of all. Brief will be held in Lecture Center 100 (the same room as last semester’s invitational) and doors will open at 9:30am. Game will start once everyone is here around 10:00 to 10:15 so please try and make it on time! With all that said I hope to see you guys there and be sure to tell your friends...

Oh, I almost forgot. We also are trying out a new OZ Application Form rather than just choosing OZs the day of to save on time. The link to this can be found at the bottom of this post, and to encourage more sign ups, we are looking at giving the OZ’s some kind of special ability similar to some past invitationals. If you have any interest, I highly recommend signing up for this reason. With all that said, I hope to see you all there on March 8th!
