New Paltz Rod & Gun Club

New Paltz Rod & Gun Club Meetings the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm.

The New Paltz Rod and Gun Club is a community of sportsmen and –women who enjoy shooting, hunting, fishing, camping and each other’s company. We’re Republicans, Democrats, teachers, engineers, mathematicians, and law enforcement officers – a diverse group of people, with different interests, brought together by a love of the outdoors. Our club is located just north of the Town of New Paltz, along the banks of the Wallkill River, and convenient to the New Paltz Rail Trail.

The January meeting on New Paltz Rod & Gun Club has been postponed by one week, due to flooding conditions. Our next meeting will be WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 17 at 7pm.

My cousin has a friend who studies and band’s hummingbirds. He banded 16 at my cousins house. He stated that only 2 of the 16 had enough fat in them to make the trip south. He has asked that we leave our feeders up till October to help our tiny feathered friends fatten up to make the trip.
