I did my first intensive (with Heidi Grace) in 2013 and it changed so much for me!

💫 My lower back pain subsided.
💫 My anxiety decreased substantially.
💫 And I was able to balance in inversions off the wall!

It also helped me establish a daily practice that’s still going strong! So join me, in person or online, and get your body and mind back together post Mardi Gras.

In person priority will be given to folks that commit to the full week. You can use the IG live classes at your convenience to make up for any days you miss! I’m super excited! Drop ins $15. Must be vaxxed and wear a mask. Venmo: tyler-stjean-2 to reserve.

In light of the current covid sitch, I am moving classes online for a couple weeks. Does any one have a preference for zoom over Instagram live? The offerings will be:

Tu. 9-9:30am - Alignment with Chair (accessible but not easy)

Th. 6-7pm - Soma Yoga: Restorative, Breathwork, Yoga Nidra, Meditation

F. 12 noon - Vigorous Vinyasa (for folks that have a practice and would like to be challenged)

Donations appreciated: $5-15 suggested

Taking a week off of teaching classes at my house to feel out this new Covid sitch... lots of vaccinated friends are sick and Pooker is coming home Sunday. She is too young to get vaccinated so I’m feeling paranoid. I’ve received two negative rapid test results in the past two weeks and am awaiting the results of a 3 day test... Moving forward, there are a few options: 1. Online classes 2. Outside classes. 3. Masking up for indoor classes. Let me know what you’d prefer. Stay safe y’all. ❤️

Continuing shoulder work this evening. Finding balance between all aspects of ourselves so we can be in balance with the world around us. Life is always providing us with opportunities to make adjustments. Please wear a mask tonight (Th.) 6pm.

Omg this feels so good! And all I can see are the imbalances in my body in this picture. But that’s why we show up, we use the props, we make adjustments we move towards balance. Now just in the physical body, but in the mind as well!

Balance is precarious. It may look like stillness on the surface. But underneath, it requires constant re-adjustment. There’s a push/ pull. Grounding down to lift up. It’s a constant dance between all the seemingly opposing forces within and around us. Come practice! M. & Th. 12 & 6pm

What makes you feel powerful? Is it power over another/others? Or is it a poise, control and mastery of Self?

When you look deeper, how are these seemingly opposing power dynamics often subtly entwined? Can you be really honest with yourself about your why?

Is mastery a way of people pleasing? Or is it a path to become an authority? Do you feel power in your love and kindness? Does it come with all kinds of attachments?
