The 2026 Shamrockin Run will be delayed until 7:45am due to rain and lighting in the area of the Blue Crab Restaurant since midnight! Heavy rains and continued lighting in the greater New Orleans area have delayed the post event and starting line set up at our race venue!

New Race Start Time:

Half Marathon 7:45am

10K 8:00am

5K 8:00am

Kids Race 10:00am

We hope to see you at our new Start Time of 8:00am at the Blue Crab Restaurant and Oyster Bar!

Weather Update! We are monitoring the current weather system that is approaching the greater New Orleans area for this weekend March 7th & March 8th, 2026! At this time, Shamrockin Run New Orleans is ready to roll at our scheduled times on Sunday morning with all distance events on the schedule.

We will continue to push out information as it warrants leading up to our scheduled race start times!

REMINDERS: Day Light Saving Times goes into affect at 2:00am Sunday, March 8th, 2026! SPRING FORWARD YOUR CLOCKS before you go to bed on Saturday night!

With Possible Pending Weather on Sunday Morning, Pick Up your Race Packets Early!
