🔥 THE FINAL FOUR ARE HERE! 🔥

We’ve reached the projected Top 4 Open Doubles seeds at the 2026 WFT World Championships of Foosball, and these four teams bring championships, momentum, and plenty to prove.

#4 | Rob Mares (Colorado) & Kevin Romero (Costa Rica/Maryland)
Two World Champions and two players who can hurt you from either position. Mares brings veteran power, experience, and the ability to tee off on anyone in the building. Romero is deadly up front, but he’s just as dangerous in goal, where his slick style has helped carry him to multiple World titles. Versatile and very hard to eliminate.

#3 | Terry Rue (Louisiana) & Paul Smith (Missouri)
Your 2025 Worlds Open Doubles runners-up are back for another shot. Smith has climbed into the elite with brutal power and relentless offense, while Rue is a legend of the game, using precision, experience, and incredible table intuition to stay in the mix with the best. Smith is still chasing his first World title, and after finishing second last year, this team is coming back hungry.

#2 | Tommy Yore (New York) & Rob Atha (Great Britain) 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Your 2026 WFT National Champions reunite for Worlds. Yore is also the defending 2025 Open Singles World Champion, while Atha has long been one of Europe’s elite players. Atha’s slick, deceptive style keeps defenders guessing, while Yore brings championship firepower. They already proved this team can win a major. Now they want the biggest one.

#1 | Jacob Balcos & Erik Hueltner 🔥
Balcos enters as the #1-ranked doubles player, with 2026 Open Doubles wins at the Tour Kickoff, Mississippi State and Ohio State, plus a runner-up finish at Nationals.

Behind him is Erik Hueltner, a defensive wall known for his calm presence, unique style, and ability to completely shut down elite forwards. Hueltner also captured Wisconsin State Open Doubles this year.

Both are highly ranked. Both have won big. But neither has won a World title.

Now the #1 seed comes to New Orleans chasing exactly that. 🏆

🔥 THE WOMEN’S DOUBLES TOP 10 COUNTDOWN IS COMPLETE! 🔥

We’ve reached the final three projected seeds in Women’s Doubles at the 2026 WFT World Championships of Foosball, and this Top 3 is stacked with World Champions, Hall of Famers, defending champions, and some of the very best women in the game.

#3 | Liz Hill (Oklahoma) & Keisha Rue (Louisiana)
Two World Champions join forces at #3.

Liz Hill, WFT Hall of Famer and the 2026 Women’s Doubles Hall Of Fame Champion, teams up with Louisiana’s Keisha Rue, another proven World Champion with plenty of big-stage experience.

This is a veteran team with championships already on the résumé, and now they’re coming to New Orleans looking to add another one.

#2 | Linda Ly (Canada) & Hannah Bufkin (Mississippi) 🇨🇦🇺🇸
Your #2 seed comes in RED HOT.

Linda Ly and Hannah Bufkin just captured the 2026 WFT National Championships Women’s Doubles title, and now they’re teaming up again for Worlds.

They also know exactly what it feels like to be in the World Championship final, finishing as the 2025 Worlds runners-up.

Two elite players, proven chemistry, and unfinished business.

#1 | Sullivan Rue & Isabelle Stelly | Louisiana 🏆
And at #1, your DEFENDING WORLD CHAMPIONS.

Sullivan Rue and Isabelle Stelly return after winning the 2025 World Championships Women’s Doubles title, and this Louisiana duo is coming back with one goal: defend the crown on home soil.

They’ve already proven they can win on the biggest stage. Now everyone else is coming for them!

🔥 That officially completes your projected Women’s Doubles Top 10!

The names speak for themselves. Champions everywhere. Experience everywhere. And absolutely no easy matches.

Who takes the title in New Orleans?

🔥 THE OPEN DOUBLES COUNTDOWN CONTINUES! 🔥

We’re officially into the Top 8 projected seeds for Open Doubles at the 2026 WFT World Championships of Foosball, and this next group is LOADED.

#8 | Kevin Walker (New York) & Steve Beine (Ohio)
Walker is one of the sharpest players in the game, bringing a deadly pull shot and one of the nastiest tic-tac five bars on tour. Behind him is Steve Beine, a true legend of the game, elite goalie and owner of an absolute HAMMER from the two-bar. This team has plenty of firepower.

#7 | Cody Byre (Ohio) & Sam Dijohn (New York)
Two of the newer Masters are making their presence known. Cody Byre has consistently produced strong doubles finishes with a unique, rock-solid goalie style. Sam Dijohn, one of the youngest Masters on tour, continues to prove he belongs among the elite with Open Doubles finals appearances and win after win against top competition. This young team is a legitimate threat.

#6 | David Gummeson (Minnesota) & Tracy McMillin (Texas) 🏆
One of the greatest and longest-running teams in foosball history is back together.

Gummeson and McMillin are World Champions, Hall of Famers, and one of the most accomplished doubles combinations the sport has ever seen. They’ve been through every type of battle imaginable, and they’re coming to New Orleans looking to add another chapter.

#5 | Brandon Moreland (Texas) & Bran Foos(Brandon Muñoz) (Costa Rica/Louisiana) 🔥
Now THIS is an interesting combination.

Brandon Moreland, inducted into the Hall of Fame this year, joins forces with Brandon Muñoz, who continues to battle at or near the very top of the world rankings and has been taking down major events.

Two elite players, two very different styles, and a fresh partnership on one of the biggest stages in foosball. Nobody knows exactly what this team will look like yet, and that may be what makes them so dangerous.

👀 Only FOUR teams remain.

Who belongs higher?
Which of these teams can win the whole thing?
And who do you have sitting inside the Top 4?

🔥 THE WOMEN’S DOUBLES TOP 10 COUNTDOWN CONTINUES! 🔥

Now we move deeper into the field with your projected #4 through #7 seeds in Women’s Doubles at the 2026 WFT World Championships of Foosball!

And this group is loaded with champions, veterans, and some serious firepower.

#7 | Jan Maynard & Joy Mouton | Tennessee
Talk about a comeback story.

After more than a decade away from competing together, Jan Maynard and Joy Mouton are BACK.

This former World Championship-caliber team didn’t ease their way back into competition either. In their first tournament back together, they went to Ohio State and WON Women’s Doubles.

#6 | Lotus Chesbrough (Washington) & Amy Powers (Colorado)
At #6, experience takes center stage.

Lotus Chesbrough and Amy Powers have both spent years competing in this game, and together they bring a tremendous amount of tournament experience to New Orleans.

Washington meets Colorado in a veteran pairing that has seen just about everything the game can throw at them.

#5 | Shelly Langley (Colorado) & Stayce Fowler (Iowa) 🏆
Your #5 seed is a team that already knows exactly what it takes to become WORLD CHAMPIONS.

Shelly Langley and Stayce Fowler have been around the block, they’ve played on the biggest stages, and they’ve already proven they can finish the job.

Colorado and Iowa join forces again, and this former World Championship team comes into New Orleans ready to fire.

#4 | Jessica Sanftleben (Mississippi) & Iveta Moore (Kentucky) 🌎

Jessica Sanftleben and Iveta Moore bring together two completely different but equally dangerous résumés.

Jessica is a multi-time Women’s World Champion and one of the most accomplished women in the game.

Alongside her is Iveta Moore, an international standout who brought her game to the United States and very quickly established herself as one of the top contenders.

👀 And now only THREE teams remain.

We’ve reached the podium positions.
Which of these four teams could break through and win the whole thing?
And is there a team here you think should be seeded even higher?

🔥 THE OPEN DOUBLES TOP 16 COUNTDOWN CONTINUES! 🔥

We now move into your projected #9 through #12 seeds in Open Doubles at the 2026 WFT World Championships of Foosball!

Assuming these teams qualify through Flights A and B, here’s the next group:

#12 | Scott O’Hare & Tom Yore | Florida 🌴
An all-Florida team comes in at #12, and this pairing brings some serious muscle.

Scott O’Hare and Tom Yore have both proven they can compete with anybody in the room. Put them together, and you have a powerful combination capable of making a very deep run in New Orleans.

#11 | Trevor Park (California) & Jake Barnett (Canada) 🇺🇸🇨🇦
At #11, we have a team that has already shown exactly how dangerous they can be together.

Trevor Park and Jake Barnett were the 2025 Hall of Fame Classic Open Doubles runners-up, coming within one match of taking down one of the biggest titles on the tour.

California meets Canada, and this international pairing comes into Worlds with unfinished business.

#10 | Mario Ariganello & Kane Gabriel | REIGNING WORLD CHAMPIONS 🏆
Yes, you read that correctly.

Your 2025 World Championships Open Doubles Champions, Mario Ariganello and Kane Gabriel, enter the projected seeding at #10.

They walked into Worlds last year and left as WORLD CHAMPIONS.

Now they return to New Orleans with the title everyone else is trying to take away from them.

Can the defending champions do it again?

#9 | Scott Wydman & Todd Loffredo | LEGENDS RETURN 👑
And then there’s #9.

Two names that need almost no introduction to anyone who knows the history of this game.

After years away from competing together on this stage, two legends of foosball return to the World Championships.

And when you talk about Todd Loffredo, you’re talking about a player who is routinely mentioned in the conversation as the GOAT of foosball.

They may be the #9 seed on paper, but does ANYONE really want to draw these two?

👀 And we’re not even into the Top 8 yet.

Eight teams remain.

Who is seeded too low?
Which of these four teams has the best chance to win Worlds?
