Lora, class of 2020, is a multitalented trumpet player: “Last year during King Arthur, the parade stopped for a long time right next to some people playing double Dutch - jump rope. They saw me watching them play and asked if I wanted to join, so I did! I jumped in still holding my trumpet and everything, it’s one of my favorite Mardi Gras memories :)” 💜💛💚

“I would say what I miss most is the dancing. That's really what I miss most about NOLA in general. I miss everyone dancing all the time to everything and I miss getting to play my horn in the streets while dancing and have other people join in and groove with me.” Thanks Cody Beam, class of 2017, for your memories!! Jacie is Tulane athletics’ biggest fan! She’s a senior mellophone player, conductor, and our former librarian! Her favorite memory: “I was conducting a Soundwave game during Krewe du Vieux and I won an athletics giveaway. I went to the table and they handed me a Mardi Gras themed house plant. I named her Edna.”
