Local art!

We're very excited to announce our next Art Show Opening will take place next Wednesday, March 1 at 5pm featuring the art of member and local artist Debra Edge. For more than 30 years First Pres in downtown Memphis has served our community with a weekly soup kitchen. Many of Edge's paintings focus on the pain and isolation encountered by our unhoused neighbors who are living on the streets. The show has a hopeful message, inspired by the great R.E.M.: "Hold on...you are not alone" and will include live music by guitarists Derek Brookshire and Curtis B. Scott.

⭐️ wanna learn to do a handstand, or maybe just begin/restart your yoga practice? I’m excited to one again offer yoga lessons (one-on-one, groups, pairs, and trios all welcome)! You provide the space, I’ll bring the mats, China gel, and props! Restorative yoga, Yin yoga, Ashtanga yoga, and good old vinyasa are all available, or we can mix it up. Beginners encouraged!
