The Summer season is down to its final two weeks, but that just means FALL BALL is right around the corner.
Registration is open to Summer and Fall ball Vets currently.
Open to EVERYONE this Wednesday, 8/30.
Rules and Goals for the Season:
All games will be played on Monday nights. Our fields for this season are currently TBD, but we should hopefully have that decided soon. It might be the Quad or it might be somewhere else.
There will be at least 8 teams captained by veteran player volunteers with the possibility of expanding to 10 teams (like last year) if we get enough players signed up.
Last season, we had 19 players per team. The goal is to have roughly 18-20 players per team, depending on how many people sign up. The gender ratio is also TBD, but for reference it was 13 male and 6 female players per team in 2022 9 players on the field at a time with a minimum of 3 per gender at any given time
Fall Ball games are 9 innings long, with the first games starting at 6:30pm and the remaining games starting at 8:00pm
Every team will play at least 7 regular season games. This season, all teams (whether it's 8 teams or 10 teams) will make the playoffs.
They will be seeded according to their positional rankings at the end of the season. Playoffs will take place over two weeks.
Important Dates:
Before the season begins, we will have a LIVE draft (likely at Mick's) where all the captains will pick their teams one by one. The tentative date for the draft will be some time in early to mid September based on captain availability.
Opening week of the season is tentatively set for Oct 9th with the season ending Dec 4th (weather pending).
There are no Saints MNF games or holidays this year occurring on Mondays, so we shouldn't have any weeks off unless it's storming.
League Dues and Payment Information
The league dues this year are $53 per player if you pay by Venmo or Paypal, or $50 if you pay in cash. These payments are used towards your individualized team jerseys that will be designed by your captain, purchases of league equipment, and field rentals. The extra $3 for non-cash payments covers the added administrative costs.
