I received my Masters of Social Work at Southern University at New Orleans and have served communities as a Psychotherapist for nearly 10 years. I chose to become a social worker because this profession allows me to help humanity by holding space for an individual while talking through what can be some very low moments in their life. It’s so important for a person to have the tools to work through

uncomfortable moments and unhealthy thinking, because in this life, we are guaranteed to have hard times. I believe in perfect imperfection; that is to say that while none of us are perfect, this has no effect on our purpose.
