I spoke with my ATF officer today concerning the new suppressor judgements, well, just as I thought. They have no information to tell us, Are we the dealers able to sell an item out on a 4473 that came in on a form 3, I can not answer that. What is the end result of selling previous NFA items sold on 4473, I can not answer that. So the officers are not allowed to answer questions, are not allowed to give advise, and are not allowed to give us there thoughts, no answers, per the ATF. Aftermention, I want to clear up, both of our officer/agents that regulate us are very good individuals and agents, they are very helpful, appreciative, and make corresponding with them pleasurable, thank you Sherri, and Gunnar. . No negative insults were meant by this post, but if taken as would be on the office, not the field agents that I have interactions with!

The best I can figure out on this: if you purchase a suppressor from "silencer shop, B&T, PSA, or SilencerCo, you can have it ship to Triple J for transfer as a 4473 item, or if you are member of one of the following organizations: GOA, Gun Owners Foundation, or Fi****ms Regulatory Accointability Coalition, you can purchase a suppressor as a 4473 item, I will be trying to get some in from one of the 3 listed, which can be purchased as a fi***rm instead of a NFA item. This being stated, there is a lot of questions, unclear actions, and fear due to the way this came down and the 7 weeks left that any appeal can still be filed. "UPDATE: Last year, Congress reduced the $200 tax on silencers, short-barreled ri**es, sh****ns to $0 in the One Big Beautiful Bill. Still, it kept the related federal paperwork, photograph, and fingerprinting requirements for those items.

West Virginia joined other states and gun-rights organizations to challenge those continuing registration requirements. And last week, a federal court issued a permanent injunction that prevents the government from enforcing the registration requirements against the parties to this case. The federal government did not seek to stay the decision, but it remains subject to appeal.

The ruling has caused some confusion. It clearly applies to West Virginia’s state agencies, along with the members and customers of the specific organizations and companies involved in the case. It is less clear whether it applies to individual West Virginians beyond those. We are working with other Republican Attorneys General to confirm the scope of the injunction and ensure that it applies to every law-abiding citizen in West Virginia.

For now, our advice is to continue to follow the direction of the ATF. We will provide updates as the case develops. And in the meantime, we will continue to fight for your Second Amendment rights in this case and others.
