The 4th Annual banquet for the Delta Waterfowl Confluence Chapter is coming up March 21st. If you are a passionate outdoorsman (or woman) this is a great opportunity for a fun evening supporting conservation.
Your support will help the Confluence chapter make an impact locally through Veteran, Youth, University and Mentored hunts for folks right here in our community! It will also help our chapter continue to provide scholarships to students pursuing education in the outdoors.
At a larger level, your support enables Delta to continue their work in the prairie-pothole region increasing duck production through predator management and nesting habitat. Delta also works closely with state and federal agencies and government for public access and management of our state and federal lands and the policies affecting them.
We have a lot of fun at our event and would love to have your support and see you at our banquet on March 21st!

Photo dump from 2025-2026 waterfowl season…
Kicked off the season mid-October in Iowa with reasonable success… blue and green winged teal, wood ducks, pintails and gadwall.
MO north zone opener somewhat slow but got a few on private ground opening weekend.
Mid November trip to NoDak. Struggled to find many ducks but got a 3 man limit one day along with great morning on snows plus another day mixed bag honks and mallards and of course mixed in some beautiful roosters.
Back to MO for December. Struggled after the thanksgiving freezup but picked a few off here and there and got a couple good poor line hunts at duck parks (got turned away multiple times too). Last duck hunt was pass on Dec 22.
First ever trip to Louisiana for me with Delta Waterfowl mid January…. Was enjoyable but hunting was slow.
Harvested a couple honkers back in MO late January.
Kicked off the CO in Arkansas earlier this week.
Blessed to still chase migratory birds in my 40th season.

Delta Waterfowl has received a $100,000 grant from Safari Club International Foundation to support the University Hunting Program in 2026. This continued partnership, which began in 2024, focuses on educating wildlife management students about hunting, conservation, and the role hunters play in the future of wildlife management.

The University Hunting Program is available to students at more than 140 colleges and universities across the United States and Canada. Participants learn how hunting fits into wildlife management through hunter education, shooting skills days, mentored hunts, and hands-on experiences that connect conservation principles to real-world practice.

By introducing more students to hunting, the program helps build understanding among future wildlife professionals and encourages continued participation in conservation and the hunting tradition.

Delta Waterfowl Confluence Chapter is offering scholarships again in 2026

It's that time of year again! We are now accepting applications for two $500 dollar scholarships. High school seniors seeking secondary education and enrolled college students are eligible.

Winners will receive their scholarship at our March 21st banquet and receive two tickets for guests.

He testified on the urgent need to restore refuge infrastructure, strengthen habitat management, and expand quality public hunting access so these lands deliver real results for ducks and duck hunters.
