Last Sunday, we danced for Smilow Cancer Center and Andy Botinick Ride Closer to FREE, and dedicated this to Carolyn Rose Dr, who has gained his angel stethoscope in the heavens.

What a beautiful and so supportive group of not only instructors, but participants and vendors. Lots of laughter and smiles! Literally what any event should be!

The father attended his first event dance fitness event. Even though he didn't participate, he commented how pretty cool it was that everyone did their thing and did it effortlessly.

Huge kudos to Carolyn Rose and hubby, Alan, for putting together a seemingly effortless event! Everything was so smooth!

Bc of life lifing, it was great to be part of something effecting so many of us.

No disrespect for not tagging everyone! Just wanted to share and enjoy the moments w everyone! Xo

2 years ago, Nanay met Tatay at the gates of Heaven. Waited for him so patiently for 2 years...

His passing was so bittersweet. He was there for my first breath and I was there for his last. He transitioned literally in my arms.

He also passed 3 days before the greatest day of his life (lol).... meeting me for the first time! ❤️👶

I do miss getting up early to make his pancakes and bacon. I miss hearing his voice...

It always seems unfathomable to know it's been 2 years without Daddy and 4 without Mommy. Grief is a real funny and weird time.

As a care provider, who often deals w death, it's incredibly easy to switch off emotions. A way to guard myself against other people's pain and sadness. When I let my emotions out, it is so draining and exhausting..especially when it comes to them.

This world is missing your boisterous laughter, Daddy. That infectious smile.. So happy you passed both of them down.

I will continue to miss you during this lifetime and forever after that.

Luther Vandross sang it best about wanting just another chance.. Bette Midler sang it best about you never wanting the glory. That you were always ok w being in the background. (Which you were.. 💔💔💔💔)

Father's Day is every day. But not having you physically here is the most heart wrenching experience I endure every day, but especially this day.

The pain in my heart doesn't ever go away. It simply and gently reminds me how God chose me to be your daughter. How blessed were we both to have each other.

We celebrate you today, Tatay. Just missing you and wanting to "torture" you w all the picture and video taking, making you your breakfast, and coming over w the kids.

*sigh* I just hate it here sometimes...
