Get a hold of me if anyone is interested in a hat. Rat Pack Trackers is now West Central Trackers with 3 other great trackers!

Anyone interested in a Richardson 112 hat? We are placing an order in Friday (07/14/2023) at noon for $25 each.

For this order, we are going to keep it simple and will only have this color as an option.

We would like to also thank Donna Gylsen for hand drawing the logo and being patient with us.

The tracking is starting to wind down but we were able to help this hunter find this nice buck. The hunter thought the deer went a different direction but Lola showed him otherwise. ALWAYS TRUST THE DOG!!

Here a some recoveries from WCT this past weekend! It’s starting to pick up a little bit with the rut starting. This brings WCT to #57 recoveries so far this season!!

It was a great night for WCT!

The bottom right picture Trenton got a call yesterday (Wednesday) from the hunter saying she shot this buck at 6:00 pm Tuesday night. They waited till the next day to track and jumped it at 600 yards and then jumped it again a 150 yards later. The hunter and Trenton come up with a plan to possibly track it Thursday afternoon because he had to work and she needed to get more land permission. The plan worked out and they found the buck at 4:30! It was a one lung and liver. Congrats to the hunter!!

The other buck found tonight is proof how we work together! The hunter called Trenton but he was unavailable to take the track but Jaren was! This one was proof to trust your dog! The hunter thought the deer went a different direction (he was hunting on the ground and couldn’t get a good look) but Ada proved that he went a different direction and roughly 150 yards later they were standing over this nice buck! Congrats to this hunter as well!!

The other picture is a proof of life that came in today! Those are always nice to see!

Introducing the West Central Trackers, Andy Lampert with Oscar (Lampert’s Hounds), Trenton Tuchtenhagen with Lola and Louie (Rat Pack Trackers), Mark Puchalla with Donny (Donny’s Deer Recovery), and Jaren Tschida with Ada (Ada Tracks) have decided to team up as a group of buddies working daily to help local hunters in need.

All four of our teams are certified trackers, have 2-3 years experience and 25+ deer recoveries each.

We are still associated with the Minnesota Tracking Dogs and will continue to promote Minnesota Tracking Dogs as well as other tracking teams to ensure the best quality service for our community.

Overall, we are excited for this merge and plan on showing many recoveries and stories as a group moving forward!
