This morning 8u boys (Rookies) played an outstanding game and lost in the last seconds 24-25. That will be the end of their National journey this season. They had an awesome season. The losses they had during Regionals and Nationals were by a few points. All very close games. West Rusk Community is super proud of them. Thanks to the coaches, parents and players for their commitment. Great job!

Yesterday was the last day for Boys Majors in the Little Dribbler's National tournament. They had a great season. Thanks to all the 12u coaches that gave their time to this group. Thanks to the players and parents for their commitment throughout the season and especially going into Regionals and Nationals. Definitely not a season to hang their heads on. You have made the West Rusk Community proud. Great job.

Congratulations to both our teams in Franklin.

Boys Rookies won 16-15 over Franklin in a tight game for their first game at Little Dribbler's Nationals. They advance in the winning bracket and will play Canton at 7:15 tonight.

Boys Majors came back from being down 8 points with 3 minutes left in the clock and won 36-33 against Anahuac. They advance in the winning bracket and will play the winner of New Waverly vs Malakoff, tomorrow at 9:15.

West Rusk had 3 teams go to Little Dribblers Regionals and all have advanced to Nationals!

Congratulations to Coach Patin and his Rookies Girls going undefeated and winning 1st place!!

Congratulations to Coach Kinney and his Rookies Boys winning 2nd place!! Some close games the whole tournament through.

Congratulations to Rookies Girls for winning their 2nd game against Elkhart 14-9 in the Little Dribbler regional tournament and now have advanced to Nationals.

Rookies Boys took a close win 23-22 over Central Heights. They advance in the winning bracket and will play Brownsboro today at 6:00 in the Arp JH gym.

Majors Boys play tomorrow at 9:15 against Chapel Hill Mt. Pleasant in the Arp HS gym.
