Working with Saul from Bethel Ministries this week. The childrens special needs wheelchair is coming along well. The goal is to make it under $100 complete. It looks like this is going to be possible. A chair with these features sell for over $2000 in the states. In Guatemala they get no assistance from the government of any kind so a low cost wheelchair is huge. Bethel Ministries will manufacture and distribute through donations they recieve for the ministry. They also build houses, distribute food, home visits, ect... they are starting to build a hospital as well. The majority of the workers in Guatemala are in wheelchairs as well.
