Building muscle doesn't happen overnight. On average, gaining 1 pound of lean muscle requires:

โœ… Consistent strength training 3-5 times per week
โœ… Adequate protein intake (around 0.7-1 gram per pound of body weight)
โœ… A slight calorie surplus to support growth
โœ… Quality sleep and recovery
โœ… Patience and consistency

For most people, gaining 1 pound of muscle can take anywhere from 4-8 ๐‘ค๐‘’๐‘’๐‘˜๐‘  of dedicated training and nutrition.

๐‘๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ: Muscle is earned through repeated effort, not quick fixes. Focus on getting a little stronger, a little better, and a little more consistent every day.

New London Local Schools is proud to partner with Fisher-Titus Medical Center as an official Movement Zone for the first annual Day of Movement!

This countywide event is designed to encourage individuals, families, businesses, and communities across Huron County to get outside, get active, and have fun together. Movement doesn't have to be complicatedโ€”whether you're walking, playing games, exercising, or simply enjoying time outdoors, every step counts!

Join Us Between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM

Community members are invited to stop by New London Schools and participate in activities that promote healthy movement and community connection. Fisher-Titus representatives will be visiting Movement Zones throughout the county, bringing giveaways, taking photos, and celebrating participants who are joining the movement.
