Recently got back on a good routine with Creatine and ashwaghanda again and the effects are feeling great💪🏽. I feel leaner, stronger, and juicier all in one. I’ve lost about 10lbs on the cut while still hitting PRs on bench and leg press. Stress levels seem to be lower especially in the work place (or maybe due to the beautiful weather) I don’t know. I strongly suggest giving these supps a chance if you haven’t already. I personally started feeling the full effect roughly a month after first starting them as an fyi. #’insanoty’

This is split I’ve been doing since starting the cut 4/1:

Monday: chest, calves, cardio

Tuesday: back & abs

Wednesday: legs, calves, cardio

Thursday: shoulders, abs

Friday: arms, calves, cardio

Saturday/Sunday: rest

Since I didn’t go on a dirty bulk I’m still relatively leanish so for diet I’ve cut out the main junk (donuts, pastries, chips, etc.) and cut carbs slightly. Other than that, diet is the same. If your struggling with diet, try starting off by just cutting out some of the really bad processed sugars and carbs and watch what differences just that can make.

For cardio I simply do bike for 20min 3-4 days a week. Nothing crazy and something that I enjoy and is maintainable. The key is to find something that best fits you and your schedule and is maintainable so you can stay consistent.

I’m down about 10lbs (~204lbs) just from being consistent to these simple small tweaks. Trust the process.

Some great eats these last few months. Stop eating that take out garbage. Making meals like these will beat McDonald’s any day. Everything your putting into your body is effecting you in some way so think twice next time you want to stop at a Burger King or chik Fil A because your feeling lazy…

Starting a shred April 1st to start looking cut for summer. Usually around this time people will start to cut so I’ll try posting some tips I’ve learned more often to help those joining me in the shred.

One thing I’ll be Incorporating is low intensity cardio. This is great for those that want to cut fat but not necessarily want to lose a lot of weight. Low intensity cardio is proven to burn more fat per calorie than high intensity cardio. Although you won’t burn as much overal fat and calories as high intensity training, you will burn slightly less fat than HIT without the loss of as many calories. Pretty cool “trick” for those that aren’t trying to cut too much weight but lean out. Give it a try…🏃🏾

Your reminder to stop staying mediocre with your workouts. Just showing up is not enough, bring the intensity and workout with a purpose. Let it bother you that people are out working you everyday…read that again. 😤

Blows my mind how many people take PEDs for the gym now with no desire to compete professionally. I feel everyone thinks you need steroids to obtain an impressive physique and forget how great of a physique we can achieve naturally. Everyone has there sights on the end goal when we should be slowing down and enjoying the slow meticulous process we go through on the way there. It makes for a healthier mind, body, and a much more appreciated end goal.

Once while I was working out in Florida I had a guy who was much more jacked and stronger than me compliment my grind/intensity and consistency over the few months I was there. This has meant 10000x more to me than any person or family member noticing just the results. Moral of the story, how hard you work is worth a lot more than just the results.

The gym is such a unique place when it comes to respect. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been working out for 10 days or 10 years, if you go and bust your ass and put in work/effort you can become respected at any stage of your lifting journey by anybody in the gym. Especially with new gym-goers, don’t compare yourself to others based on size and strength, compare yourself to others based on effort. You won’t always be the biggest but you can always work the hardest.

It means a lot more having someone twice the size of you compliment you for your grind than someone 1/2 the size of you compliment you for your size

The following are the two main supps I take. Everything w/ a ✅ is a side effect I have personally felt/noticed after starting to take these…
Creatine: #1 supp to take
- Speeds up recovery✅
- Increase anabolic hormones
- Brings more water to the muscles✅
- Can also help with memory
- Endurance✅
Ashwaghanda:
- Best known for its adaptogenic/anti-stress capabilities ✅
- Neuroprotective
- Anti tumor
- Anti arthritic
- Anti inflammatory
- Memory ✅
- Endurance✅
- T levels? (Personally noticed higher drive but not proven)✅

Some overlap with some of these so its hard to say what supplement I owe praise to for certain effects. However, these two combined I have seen great results. That being said, they are only SUPPLEMENTS and won’t magically make you bigger. Diet and consistency are still the two biggest factors💪🏽

Finally back…🏋🏽

First time working out my back the other day in two months (the stretching and pulling would flare up the costochondritus) but finally feeling better. Also have been going 80% with other upper body exercises to keep the irritation down and focusing on what I can go 100% in, legs. However, we’re back and more motivated than ever 😤

This is a reminder to listen to your body ALWAYS. You only have one body… take the measures needed to make sure it’s rested and being taken care of. 🦷🫀🫁🧠
