BOAT BASH! Saturday Juy 23rd Alcatraz Island on Castlerock Lake. Bring your boat and party all afternoon, then we'll move it on shore to Shipwreck Bay and hit it again at night. Southbound (Country Band) will be featured at Shipwreck Bay.

Waterfest is one of the biggest weekends of the year here in the Castle Rock Lake area!

The first Saturday every August hosts a full day of fun-filled family activities at the Castle Rock County Park including the 5K Walk/Run, Bike Parade, Historic 40et8 Train Rides, Food Vendors, Live Music, Light Your Campsite Contest, Super Hero Visitors, plus all the usual campground activities of hiking, swimming, and lounging on the beach.

At dusk the Touchstone Energy Venetian Lights Boat Parade departs from the Dirty Turtle Restaurant & Marina at O'Dell's Bay on Castle Rock Lake. This string of lighted and theme decorated boats meander the shoreline all the way to Castle Rock Park, showing off their original designs the entire way as crowds on shore cheer them on.

Once the boat parade reaches Castle Rock Park (around 10pm), the spectacular fireworks show begins! People enjoy the display from the park, the shorelines, and even from their boats in the harbor. Its a climactic ending to a fabulous day!
