We are excited to host our first “Night at the Races” on 8/29!
What is it?
1. You buy your entry and the right to name a horse whatever you like. Your horse will be placed in one of 10 races.
2. 10 prerecorded races are played on a big screen and announced by the race announcer/emcee.
3. Live bets can be placed for each race. Minimum of $2 bet and no max bet.
4. If the horse you named wins its race, you win $40.
5. Winning bets paid out after each race.

There will also be 50/50, another special chance game and a few other surprises. We will also have silent auction baskets.

Some key things to note:
1. There are only 100 horses to name!
2. The capacity of the Elks basement is 125-150. So we will have to limit the number of people in attendance.
3. Entry and horses can only be purchased beforehand! No purchasing entry at the door.
4. We will stop taking entries/horses on 8/15/26.
5. On the night of the event, please enter thru the Elks basement in the back.
6. Dinner is included
7. Cash bar
8. Bring plenty of cash! Cash only event. (If you bid on silent auction and win, we will take a check for payment)

Night at the Races

Our first annual Night at the Races!
Thank you to the Elks for allowing us to use the basement as our venue!
How does it work?
1. $30 gets you entry and the right to name a horse.
2. Name your horse whatever you like. The race announcer will announce each race using the horse names provided by attendees. The horse names can be funny, ornery or serious. Just know it will be announced out loud.
3. There are only 100 horses that can be named. Please buy your entry and horse early.
4. Space will be limited to about 125-150 people.
5. If you don’t buy an entry with naming rights in time, you can still purchase entry for $20.
6. Dinner is included with entry purchase.
7. Cash bar
8. There will be 10 prerecorded races that will be played and announced. You can bet any amounts you desire on each race. Odds will be calculated and winners paid out after each race. Then betting will open for next race.
9. There will also be silent auction items and other chance activities.
10. Please bring cash. It is cash only.
11. Please contact one of the contacts listed to reserve entry and naming rights.
12. We are also asking for $100 race sponsors. We will recognize all sponsors for their support.
