The fun show November 1st will be a go! Onnie Smith is going to put out a show bill by Friday. What classes do we want to see? Here’s what I’m thinking so far! Would love some suggestions! And if anyone knows someone who wants to “judge” the couple pleasure/pattern classes let me know

-a few pleasure classes
-a pattern class or two
-stick horse
-costume class
-barrels and pole bending
-egg and spoon
-ride a buck ba****ck
-ribbon race?
-Simon says
- scudda-ho (timed class where you weave poles, jump a very small cross rail, weave through barrels, then jump the cross rail again)

Who would be interested in a fun/Halloween/speed show November 1st at Francis Field? Onnie with Painted Ha-Lo would be Happy to throw something together if there’s enough interest! Want to give people a chance to make up a few more speed points before year end since we had to cancel it today!

UPDATE for Painted Ha-Lo Ranch show

Speed unfortunately is cancelled, the arena is still too wet for us to consider it safe for the speed events. We appreciate everyone being flexible today while we work to keep horses and contestants safe!

From Onnie with Painted Ha-Lo

The show is still on for tomorrow! The arena is wet right now but should drain some overnight, we will be directing parking to the areas on the grass that are more solid, there’s plenty of room still! I will make the call by 12:00 if it will be safe to hold speed classes in the afternoon.
