Due to the severe weather expected to move through our area this evening, Tri-Star Martial Arts Academy will be closed tonight.

We know many of our students look forward to training each week, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, the safety of our students, families, and staff will always come first.

The Satisfaction…

Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. (NLT) (Galatians 6:4)

This verse applies to much more than our work.

We compare our homes.

Our possessions.

Our accomplishments.

Even our bodies.

Comparison is a trap we willingly walk into when we take our eyes off Christ and place them on everyone else.

And the sad part is that it steals our joy.

God has given each of us different gifts, different callings, and different paths.

Don’t let someone else’s blessings blind you to your own.

If you find yourself constantly comparing, stop and thank God for what He has already placed in your life.

Gratitude has a way of silencing comparison.

What would our world look like if believers truly took this verse to heart?

The workplace would be different.

Rush hour traffic would be different.

Even our homes would be different.

The world doesn’t need more anger, pride, or impatience.

It needs more mercy.

More kindness.

More humility.

More gentleness.
