Fly Me To The Moon 5K on the Runway This event is night run at the Neil Armstrong Airport in New Knoxville OH. Run on the Taxiways, Airstrip and Runway at night as it is lit up in full view!

At the finish line, receive your medal and watch the original Top Gun Movie! Join us on August 9th at 9 pm for a race like no other as we shut the Airport down just for you! Get your running shoes on and fly along the taxiway and run on the airstrip with the lit up runway lights at night! Enjoy this unique view of the Airport from the runway! PACKET PICKUP INSTRUCTIONS
Packet pickup will be open on Friday from 5-7pm. We encourage you to take advantage of the early packet pickup to avoid crowds on race day. You may pickup packets for your friends and family also.

On Saturday packet pickup is open from 7-9pm, The race starts at 9:15pm. Bring your chairs to watch the fireworks and you can set up your chairs ahead of the race. The fireworks start at 10pm.

WEATHER POLICY:

We are watching the weather and it appears Saturday may be rainy. The race start time is 9:15pm and the forecast shows that the rain will have moved through by then. If it has not and it is raining, the race will still take place and the start time will not be delayed. If there is lightning we will delay the race in 15-minute blocks until 10pm. At that point the race will be switched to Virtual and medals will be handed out. Runner safety is our primary concern and we will be monitoring the weather using the sophisticated radar at the Neil Armstrong Airport.
