+++Volunteering & Fundraising Opportunity - June 13, 14, 20, 14 & 26+++

Enjoy a concert and raise funds for CV Ice Hockey at the same time!

Ushers are needed for the following upcoming event on:
6/13/2026 at 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM (America250PA Commonwealth Concert Series - The Avett Brothers & Joan Jett and the Blackhearts)
6/14/2026 at 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM and 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Forrest Frank)
6/20/2026 at 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Mumford & Sons)
6/24/2026 at 3:30 PM - 9:30 PM and 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Chris Stapleton)
6/26/2026 at 4:30 PM - 09:30 PM (Santana and the Doobie Brothers)

Usher duties would include scanning tickets, handing out giveaways, and making sure people are directed to their proper seats. For every hour that an usher works, the club earns $8; so 5 hour shift will earn the club $40. So the more people that are able to usher, the more money the club earns.

Each volunteer receives a free Hersheypark ticket in addition to being able to watch or listen to a concert or event for free.
If ushering positions are filled, you may be placed on a waiting list.

Hersheypark Stadium and Cumberland Valley Ice Hockey Club needs your help! Be a part of the concert experience while supporting our student athletes. Volunteer ushers are still needed for the upcoming concerts. Each volunteer (18+) may receive up to 2 Hersheypark tickets (depending on shift) in addition to raising funds for CV Ice Hockey. 🏒 Cumberland Valley Ice Hockey FAQ for the 2026–2027 season is here! 🦅

We know families have a lot of questions going into evaluations and the upcoming season, so we put together an FAQ covering:

Our goal is to continue building a program focused on teamwork, leadership, community, and giving student-athletes the opportunity to proudly represent Cumberland Valley on and off the ice.

Whether your player is brand new to CVIHC or returning for another season, we’re excited for what’s ahead!

!!IMPORTANT!! There will be a parents meeting and Q&A with our board starting at 6:30 in one of the party rooms at the ice rink. We encourage ALL parents to attend this informational session and come ready to ask your questions.

🏒Big Congratulations to Aidan Sheaffer! 🏒

As many of you know from our end of year banquet, Aidan was the recipient of the Hobey Baker Award…

We wanted to give him his spotlight once more as he finally received the award.

This award recognizes integrity, leadership, sportsmanship, and a commitment to excellence both in the game and in the community. Aidan embodies everything this award stands for. His dedication, selflessness, and leadership have left a lasting impact on Cumberland Valley Ice Hockey and everyone who has had the privilege to be part of this program.

This moment is bigger than one player — it reflects the culture of our team, the strength of our hockey family, and the values we strive to build every day. Aidan’s achievement is a reminder that Cumberland Valley hockey is about more than wins and losses… it’s about character, teamwork, and representing something bigger than yourself.
