The NHP/GCP Termites have opened an online apparel store for a limited time, until Tuesday 8/18/20. For your convenience, due to COVID concerns, all orders will be shipped directly to you, orders will not be available for pick up . Please allow 2 weeks for shipment and feel free to distribute.

The Termites annual Daytona watch party is this Sunday! Doors open 1pm. We still have raffle tickets for sale at $10 a ticket! We are also bringing back the car raffle this year, $20 a chance! Everyone will be randomly assigned a driver. 1st Place gets 300 “points” and whoever’s driver finishes the race last gets 100 “points”. Drivers will be assigned at the Daytona watch party Sunday prior to the start of the race. @ New Hyde Park Fire House South 5th Street

It is with deep regret the members of the New Hyde Park- Garden City Park Termites announce the passing of former team member John “Star” Nykiel. Star was a ex-Chief of the New Hyde Park Fire Department, a Battalion Chief for the FDNY, 2nd deputy chief at the Nassau County Fire Service academy, and the 1st battalion delegate for the Nassau County fire commission. For the Termites he ran three man, he was our climber, he ran efficiency nozzle, motor pump turn on and was Dumper in buckets. Friend,mentor, forever a skell. Rest In Peace brother.
