When World War I finally came to an end, thousands of exhausted military horses faced a heartbreaking fate. 🐴💔
After years spent carrying soldiers through mud-filled trenches, hauling artillery across shattered battlefields, and enduring the horrors of war, many were abandoned, sold off, or destroyed because they were no longer considered useful.
But one British soldier refused to let that happen to the horse who had carried him through hell.
