Week 8 of Summer Camp = Olympics 🥍🏹🥊⛸️🥌🏋🏼‍♀️ we learned so many interesting facts about the different winter and summer Olympics ! We took home a prize “medal” & foam #1 fan fingers. 🥇🥈🥉We ended our final week of summer camp with lots of fun ! We took our last dip in the pool, took a field trip to skate zone , and had “glow day” !

📚📖Week 7 of Summer Camp = StoryBook 📖📚 The children was encouraged to dress up as a storybook character this week ! We had a hot, but very fun “field day” . ☀️ The younger class took a field trip to New Hope Community Center playground where they got to have a Teddy Bear Picnic with their “stuffy” . The children was able to craft together a superhero mask from a superhero book. 🦹🏼🦸🏽‍♀️We ended the week by getting a cold treat from Bailey’s Ice Cream Truck . 🍦

🌸🌺 Week 6 of Summer Camp = Luau 🌺🌸 The children enjoyed learning all about an Hawaiian Luau while eating cold DIPPIN’ DOTS Ice Cream from Taylor Made Cake. 🍧The children got to design their own Luau shirt, and played a luau flamingo toss game. 🦩We ended the week by taking a field trip to Overview Place Jumpers. Lastly, we want to thank 4 County Electric Power Association for coming this week to teach us all about electricity ! 💡🔦 Their demonstration trailer was so cool and very informative! 🔌💡

Week 5 of Summer Camp = Around The World 🌍🌗🥢🍽️🥡🌮 The children designed their own wooden maraca, learned about different countries, and participated in a mission project for The Columbus Humane Society. 🐱We ended our week with a surprise visit from the dogs at The Columbus Humane Society. 🐶

Week 4 of Summer Camp = Mad Scientist 🔬👩🏽‍🔬🦠👨🏿‍🔬🧫🧑🏼‍🔬 The children enjoyed a field trip to Jumpers at Overview Place in New Hope, created a science molecule snack using toothpicks and gumdrops, crafted together a mad scientist hat, and lastly, ended the week with a visit from Lowndes County Sheriff Eddie Hawkins and his crew.
