PRACTICE STARTS MONDAY!

Welcome all players and parents to another great year of Garden Spot Youth Football!

The directors and coaches are all anxious for the season to start.
Below are some important dates and information for you to read over.
Practice:
First night of practice will be Monday August 4th from 6-8 pm. All practices will be held on the fields located directly behind the high school stadium under the blue water tower.

- August 4, 5, 6, 7 from 6-8 pm. This practice is for conditioning with no pads. Helmets will be distributed the first night of practice, please make sure players wear them Tues, Wed, Thurs.
- August 11, 12, 13, 14 from 6-8 pm starts padded practice. All equipment will be handed out the first week of practice. GS Youth Football provides all equipment except cleats and an athletic cup.
- August 18, 19, 21 from 6-8 pm padded practice.
Once school starts, practice will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 6-8 pm. With the exception of the week of Sept. 1, due to Labor Day, practice will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6-8 pm. Please make sure players bring plenty of water to practice and are well hydrated throughout the day.

- All paperwork and payments are due the first night of practice. No equipment will be handed out until all fees are paid in full. Please contact Brittany Shore ([email protected]) if you have a financial hardship.
- If you sold subs, an email was sent out a few weeks ago with balances due.

All paperwork is due by Monday August 4th
- Players may not participate in contact practice until all paperwork is completed and handed in.
- Please bring all paperwork and payments to the shed, DO NOT give it to your child’s coach.

The 2025 Welcome Packet is on the TeamApp. Please read over this and keep it handy. It has all the information you will need for the football season.

Please make sure you are checking TeamApp regularly. The app will have all the practice and game schedules, along with important information as the season progresses. This is a much easier and effective way to communicate to parents regarding schedules, weather cancellations, game location and volunteer opportunities. Please keep in mind that the game schedule may change due to teams entering or exiting the league and field availability among other teams.

Please take the time to look through the “News” tab. This section contains important information regarding practices, parking, uniform care, etc. The “Events” tab will have volunteer information, the “Schedule” tab will have the game schedule and locations, and the Teams" tab will have each team roster once the season gets started. If you need access to the TeamApp please email [email protected].

You will still have communication with your player’s coach through email.

IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE BUT IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!!!

In person football sign-ups for the 2025 season will take place on Saturday June 7 & 14 from 9-10:30 am at the football shed. We will be having an R&K sub sale to help offset the registration fees. The registration packet is also available in the “documents” tab on Team App if you are already signup for that. If you are not and this is your first year or no longer have access to the app, please email [email protected] and we can email you the registration packet. GARDEN SPOT YOUTH FOOTBALL FAMILIES AND GS COMMUNITY.

As many of you may know already, Carson Rollman, one of our own football players, has passed away in a tragic car accident.
As an organization, we will be collecting gift cards, such as restaurant, gas, or groceries for the family to help ease the burden.
Garden Spot Youth Football will also be starting a scholarship in Carson’s name to help future players who financially cannot pay for the football fee. If anyone would like to help monetarily towards this scholarship, we will be accepting checks made out to Garden Spot Youth Football. Please write in the notes “Carson Rollman Scholarship”. Please email [email protected] for an address to send the checks and gift cards.
