🎉🐴 WE ARE SO EXCITED!! SODAPOP IS ADOPTED! 🐴🎉

Many of you know Sodapop's story, but for those who don't...
Sodapop came to us from a kill pen just before Thanksgiving last year with a severe wound that required immediate veterinary attention. Her future was uncertain, but thanks to the love, dedication, and support of so many, she was given a second chance.
From the very beginning, two of our incredible volunteers, Linda and Danny, were drawn to Sodapop. They quickly became her sponsors and guardians, standing by her side through every step of her healing journey. They showed up with open arms, endless patience, and so much love as she learned to trust and recover.

Today, we are beyond thrilled to share that Linda and Danny have officially made the decision to welcome Sodapop into their family forever! ❤️

Linda and Danny, we couldn't be happier for you both as you begin this new chapter together with Sodapop. Watching the bond you have built over these past months has been truly special, and there is no doubt that she has found exactly where she belongs.
The best part? Sodapop will remain right here at Peaceful Pastures, allowing us all to continue watching this beautiful partnership grow for years to come.

In exchange for FREE loading of manure, we ask that you make a donation to our hay fund. Every dollar goes directly toward feeding and caring for the rescue horses at Peaceful Pastures.

Because of your kindness and generosity, our barn and horses are getting summer ready in the best way possible! From the much-needed fly masks, fly boots, fly bags, fans, fan holders, fly spray, and all of the shampoos and conditioners helping wash away the sweat, dirt, and grime — every single donation is helping keep our horses comfortable, clean, safe, and happy during these hot summer months. 💛

Many of these horses have come from difficult situations, and being able to provide them with comfort and proper care means the world to us. Seeing them relaxed, protected from the flies, freshly groomed, and enjoying the sunshine is only possible because of this incredible community standing behind them.

We are working hard to continue improving the comfort and safety of our barn for the horses of Peaceful Pastures. One of our next big projects is adding stall mats to all 8 stalls!

Stall mats help provide:
🐴 Better support and comfort for joints
🐴 Cleaner and drier stalls
🐴 Safer footing
🐴 Easier daily cleaning and maintenance
Each stall requires 4 mats.
• Cost per mat: $39.99
• Cost to fully mat one stall: $160
• Total project goal: $1,280

As each stall gets sponsored, we’ll mark it off on our fundraiser board! 💙

No donation is too small — every dollar goes directly toward creating a safer, more comfortable space for the horses in our care.

At Peaceful Pastures Equine Sanctuary, it truly takes a village to keep our rescue horses happy, healthy, and loved — and right now, we are looking for compassionate volunteers to join our barn family. 🐴
Whether you’re experienced with horses or simply have a heart to serve, there is a place for you here. From feeding and grooming to barn chores, turnout, organizing, spring cleanup, and simply loving on the horses… every helping hand makes a difference.
