We are deeply saddened by the loss of Mari Winsor. Both Amy and John are thankful for the time they spent with her at True Pilates New York (John had a particularly amazing lesson with her in 2015; her health was already declining and still she was so kind, funny, and tough). Mari changed the history of Pilates, making the method a household name. John himself was first introduced to Pilates in 2004 with a Winsor Pilates video, and from there he made his way, via Pam Pardi, to True Pilates to become a Romana’s Pilates instructor.

Mari will be missed by all those she touched and worked with. To this day when transitioning from one side to the other in side kicks, John can still hear Mari from her videos say: “gotta make both cheeks even”. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Gratz on Gratz on Gratz!!! .gratz has been coming to Pilates Haven for over 3 years. Becca’s grandfather and father (of Gratz Industries) made our beloved apparatuses for decades. Some day we will reopen and all of our clients will be able to use our Gratz equipment once again. @ Pilates Haven
