We took promotional and cover photos for upcoming projects including:

Are you looking for a Women's Self Defense Class? Is your daughter or granddaughter going to college in the Fall, and they could benefit from awareness and self defense skills?

Grandmaster Clifford Crandall and Headmaster Eric Stalloch, along with our staff, are teaching a 90 minute seminar for women on Saturday, June 17 from 10:00 to 11:30 am.

30 minutes: Awareness, Intuition, Mindset, Boundary Setting, and Avoidance Skills

60 minutes: physcial participation learning escape techniques against common assault scenarios.

WOMEN'S SELF DEFENSE SEMINAR
One Day Only!
Saturday, June 17 from 10 to 11:30 am
$30 - Pre-registration required

This is a participatory seminar for women ages 16 and older taught by Grandmaster Clifford Crandall and Headmaster Eric Stalloch at the American Martial Arts Institute. 30 minutes will be spent discussing awareness and strategies to reduce the risk of vicitimization. 60 minutes will be spent covering physical responses to escape common assualt scenarios.

Today's black belt testing was a tremendous moment of growth for our school and it's future as candidates tested for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th degree black belt ranks.

Saturday morning started with every room filled with different classes. 🌄

👊 Our super kick class for ages three to five, ended there martial arts training with a fun activity involving bowling to build coordination and tumbling. While, the class focuses on martial arts skills, the activities get them excited for next week.

🥊 Our black belt / brown belt session this morning, worked on ground fighting and take downs.

🥋 Karate aerobics gave everyone a great 30 minute tabata workout.

✅ The cane class worked on hooking techniques and self-defense drills.

‼️ The kendo class learned about safety for their bokkens and Shinai along with their regular training.

And at 11:00 a.m. the black belt testing started. It is underway now with the written exam portion. More information about this testing later.

Our training location is a 6400 ft² facility with three large training rooms which allows for our staff to run multiple classes simultaneously.

Grandmaster Crandall writes a monthly column for the Daily Sentinel and produces PSAs encouraging seniors on ways get active. The program is called Still Alive and Kicking.
