Just wanted to thank everyone for coming out to the show yesterday! It was a really good show with lots of participants, great weather, and beautiful horses!

I also wanted to thank everyone who helped make the show possible especially the officers and board members that pulled it all together as we were down two officers and made it through the day short handed.

Remember next month we are holding a contest only show with payback for the first three places on July 11th starting at noon. This is a great warmup for the upcoming fairs and a chance for the rest of us to show in July. Classes is P*e Wee, Junior and Open - all ages welcome! $5 per class, $5 office fee but you must be a member to show. Memberships are $15 single or $30 for a family.

Tomorrow saddle club meeting at 6 o’clock at the junior leaders booth, afterwards for anyone that wants to practice on tractors Scott will be there.

Saturday is our horse show! And as always help is greatly needed! One officer is going to be absent all day and another one part of the day so we’re going to be really shorthanded.

I was just wanted to thank everyone who came to the Posey County saddle club show yesterday. I know it was a little rainy off and on, but we’re very pleased to have one show in the books! I cannot thank all the people who jumped in to help, we really couldn’t do it without you!

For those of you that are new if you are in a peewee, lead line or junior class and didn’t receive a trophy. Just let us know at the next horse show and we’ll get you one. If you would rather not have your trophy that is fine too! If you have one too many sitting on your shelf at home, return them and we’ll put them to good use. Sometimes in trying to keep the show running quickly and smoothly things get over looked, if you ever have any questions or problems, please come to the announcers booth.

I know we don’t always announce it enough, but we’d like to thank our sponsors again! We truly appreciate you sponsoring our club, your sponsorship helps us in so many ways! Our banner was proudly displayed with all of your names at the announcers booth.

We’re still looking for five more sponsors for our contest show. The show is July 11th at the beginning of the Posey County Fair, this is open to anyone! Our classes will be five dollars each and the first three places will receive guaranteed money of $25, $15, and $10.

Again, it wasn’t announced enough, but we do have plenty of T-shirts for sale in the announcers booth. Please just ask. If you pre-ordered shirts, please pick them up in the announcers booth. There were a few left that was not picked up yesterday or make arrangements with Melinda.

We are still having a horse show! Forecast shows some light showers so prepare to get wet, but the arena is dry!
