Not sure if they found a Purple Heart veteran to take advantage of this amazing opportunity, but was worth sharing. Reach out to them directly for more information.

We have an amazing opportunity for two Purple Heart Veterans, but we need to act fast!!!

Erik Olson came on a ReBoot Moose Hunt, and he’s looking to pay it forward! He booked a bear hunt last year, but a recent promotion means he can’t attend.

Well, that’s where we come in! Erik has donated his two hunting slots from 9/6-9/13 with Bullets and Broadheads Guide Service to two Purple Heart Veterans! The application process is open for 48-hours from NOW.

If you are a veteran who meets the criteria, and you can attend the hunt timeframe at Nesowdnahunk Campground, please email [email protected]

Hunters are responsible for getting to Maine and back home, license, butchering, trophies.

Thank you,Erik, for this opportunity!!!! You are !!!!

What an incredible weekend with our Veterans at the Run for the Troops event! 🇺🇸🚴‍♂️

Our group enjoyed nearly 50 miles of cycling using adaptive trikes and bikes as needed over two days, along with plenty of opportunities to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes these weekends so special.

The evenings were just as memorable, with a lively band, Toilet Bowl races, competitive co****le, camping, and peaceful evening walks along the lake. Thankfully, the rain held off long enough for us to finish the ride and enjoy the weekend to the fullest!

Great miles, great memories, and even better company. The friendships and memories made this weekend will last a long time. ❤️🇺🇸

Thank you to Run for the Troops and Schneider Electric for another amazing weekend and all your support with providing the trikes and supporting our Veterans!

🥾 Veterans, Mountains & Camaraderie at Zealand Hut 🇺🇸

What a memorable trip with 15 Veterans as VAST partnered with the Azimuth Check Foundation for an adventure to the AMC Zealand Hut!

The journey included a beautiful hike to the hut, time spent talking and reconnecting around the waterfalls, incredible mountain views, and even an evening walk to enjoy the peaceful sounds and scenery as the day came to an end. 🌲🏔️

Of course, the delicious meals were a highlight too! But what makes these trips truly special is the opportunity to slow down, recharge, share stories, laugh, and enjoy the camaraderie that comes from being with fellow Veterans.

These adventures are about so much more than hiking. They provide an opportunity to step away from everyday stresses, challenge ourselves, build connections, and simply enjoy being together in the outdoors.

A huge thank you to the Azimuth Check Foundation and everyone who helped make this trip possible. We are grateful for the continued support that allows VAST to create meaningful outdoor experiences for Veterans. 🇺🇸💚

Our group lucked out with clear skies and great views for last week’s training / test hike up Falling Waters Trail to the Greenleaf Amc Hut Mt Lafayette in the NH Pemi loop. These hikes get us prepared for harder hikes coming up this summer. As always the camaraderie and group effort is what makes these trips the most memorable.
